Within this theme, there is a focus on “Access to Psychological Support” 👨⚕️🤲🏾.
It is DRI’s goal to ensure our clients successfully manage their diabetes, and a part of this, is making sure they have emotional support. In addition to educating diabetics the DRI provides free counseling for clients through our in-house psychologist.

With a focus on “Access to Psychological Support”, it is important to highlight our in-house psychologist who provides counseling to our clients in need of emotional support. 💙
🗣💬 DRI’s Panel Discussion on “Access To Diabetes Care” is today at 5PM on ZOOM.
We will have 7 panelists speak on their fields and experiences with diabetes and also discuss how access to diabetes can be provided.

This week, DRI challenged our staff, followers and clients to take part in our "Staying Fit" Photo Challenge. Here are some of our featured photos!
“Access to Diabetes Care: If Not Now, When?” is the theme for this year’s World Diabetes Day 🔵.
Within this theme, there is a focus on “Access to Physical Activity” 🚴♀️🏀🏃♂️.
It is DRI’s goal to ensure our clients successfully manage their diabetes, and a part of this, is making sure they stay active. In addition to educating diabetics on the recommended ways to incorporating physical activity in their lives, we also offer classes specific to teaching monitoring and exercising, Zumba classes and even fun run walks!

With a focus on “Access to Education”, it is important to highlight our physician and in-house nurses who always take care of our clients by carefully educating and providing them with the knowledge they need to successfully manage their diabetes. 💙
