Yesterday Evolve with Thato Hourned an invite by the organisers of MISS Metsimotlhabe 2024, their theme was OWN YOUR OWN.
I tittled my massage own your stage.. I took the contestants through MENTORSHIP, NETWORKING AND PURPOSE.i believe this aspects takes one to their evolving era.

PURPOSE - one day our maker will call us home.. And He will ask us what did we do with the gifts and talents He gave us.. For our purpose is in those gitfs and talents.

Network-establish long term matual relationship with people you meet.. Fill your circle with people of value, potential business partner, doctors, responsible individual, fellow farmers etc

MENTORSHIP-- look for that person you are inspired by who aline with your dreams and vision. Ask to be mentored.. This will help with sense of direction in life, they become your accountable partner, help you reach your higher self.. Maximise your personal through their guidance.

she is part of debating without boards which is celebrating it's 10years this year, she is a motivational speaker and show host.....she also works at duma FM

She talked about 4 things to make sure that during your speaks you are mindful of the 4 Ps that you have to ensure
1. Pitch
2. Pace
3. Projection
4. Pause
We also talked about the importance of having an ice breaker just so you are comfortable with the crowd plus you would know one person 😂😂 to always look at for assurance, gao Le motho Le jokes crack a joke first before you start don't just shoot through to your presentation and do your research regarding people you are going to address

Evolve with Thato took part in the 9th annual purple walk to raise awareness on epilepsy yesterday. we am glad to have been part of such an initiative not only to raise awareness but to show love ams support to those affected... It takes a village..

Remedy Of Hope Foundation Honoured us with the invitation of being their special guest to their event. Their main objective of this event is to donate toiletries to patients and host soul uplifting sessions in hospitals.
Remedy for hope present their 1st Annual Youth Entreprenual Expo plus fashion showcasing on the 2nd March 2024.

There will be awe inspiring entrepreneurs to grace the event, fashions designers, professional models, dj, artist, dancers, poetess all in one roof.

I went to boarding school for 5 years. 3 years at Mahupu CJSS, 1 year at Matsha College, and 1 year at Moeding College. During these years I got to appreciate how other kids had it hard. I remember there was one girl who was an orphan, she wasn't even registered to get assistance because no one advocated for her. She never had enough toiletries and menstruation was a struggle. Instead she used pieces of cloth as pads, and this meant some months she stained herself. Other kids would laugh at her and she started isolating herself. On days she had her period she either woke up very early to bath so that no one saw her washing those stained pieces of cloth, or bath after everyone which meant she will be late and get a beating. Some kids started offering her pads but she already had a label, she was rediculed and her self esteem was broken. One day we came back from school holidays and she never came back. If she never had menstruation issues then she could have stayed in school and she could be someone now, but she did not have pads and it destroyed her dignity. She could not stand the stigma so she left, and unfortunately she had no parents to bring her back to school. To some little girls it's an issue of destiny, the availability of pads can pen out how long they hold on and try to fight to achieve their dreams. It's their futures, and a pad can change that. I know to some it's a joke but for a girl child it's much more than that.

This campaign is more than giving free pads to those in need of them, it's giving a girl child a chance to stay in school to reach her full potential, an opportunity to safe menstruation period and restore her dignity

Evolve with Thato is running a '' help keep a girl child in school 'campaign. The intention of this campaign is to give a girl child an equal opportunity to stay in school and reach her full potential l.

Did you know that due to lack of sanitary pads some girls miss school until her cycle is over and how can this not affect her school performance. This donations will help a girl child regain her confidence and reduce reasons of absenteeism when it's that time of the month.
