It's the last month of the first half of 2024. Many things have happened, and many achievements have been made. You may not have gotten the results you wanted in the first half, but it's not too late. Prepare for the second half. Don't waste your time or bring discouragement to yourself by saying, "Winter is here, the year is already gone, I'll see next year." No, no, no! There are many more months to go—six months, imagine!

I usually say take July, which is the first month of the second half, as your January. What you didn't manage in the first half of the year, you can begin again in July. Make sure by December you have achieved your dreams. Encourage yourself in the Lord. Get ready to launch. Much blessings!

A Motswana artist sells painting for P8.4 million in the U.S. If you remember this headline, Meleko Mokgosi was that artist! 👨🏾‍🎨

Born in Francistown, Meleko is a U.S.-based artist, an Associate Professor, and the Director of Graduate Studies at the Yale School of Art.

This February, Meleko will join select African artists whose works will be showcased during an art exhibition by American singer, Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz. Mokgosi’s large-scale, figurative, text-based works engage art to investigate historiography, democracy, and liberation movements across Africa and the diaspora.

"Breaking Boundaries: A Touching Journey to Kgalagadi's Unseen Tribes"

"One thing that touched me deeply was when I arrived in Kgalagadi, Salajwe Village. In the first house we visited, the elders welcomed our team warmly. After some time of sharing and praying with them, one of the elders asked, 'Sir, why did you come here? What made you come here? We truly appreciate your visit because very few people come to our village. We are Bakgalagadi and Basarwa tribes, and some people from other tribes look down on us, saying we are nobodies and not real people. However, you took the time and travelled kilometres to bless us.'

I was deeply moved by their words and reassured them that they are not less, that they are now born again, and that God loves them. We continued to the next house, their neighbours, and I received a similar sentiment from a lady there. She shared how their tribes, the Bakgalagadi and Basarwa, are often treated differently, with no churches or fellowships visiting them.

The appreciation and warm welcome from the Bakgalagadi community were truly touching. I am thankful for the apostolic mandate given to me by God for Village to Village outreach, and I extend my gratitude to my team and the individuals who supported me when I shared this vision with them. If you are reading this, I encourage you to consider partnering with us to reach more villages with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
