Today we celebrate the biggest reptiles on earth! With the strongest bite of any animal in the world, crocodiles use their teeth to grab hold of, grasp, and crush their prey. They are a common feature in freshwater dams and rivers all across Botswana as well as the northern wetlands of the Okavango & Chobe and are one of the most common sightings while on safari.

Also known as the laughing scavengers /opportunistic hunters, Hyenas live in female dominated clans and are famous for stealing prey from other carnivores digesting the bones, skin and even teeth. We are so grateful for the amazing wildlife that surrounds us and make our Safari worthwhile.
