Without the support of specialized companies we would not have the planes we do. Super happy with Harbour Air that painted GDWY and GEJG. There attention to detail was on point, the paint jobs are fantastic. On budget and great communication, they will definitely be doing future paint jobs for us and I would recommend them.

Without the amazing men and women at EA Structures mgf would not be online.

And not to forget about our main crew at bakerview Aviation that keeps our planes in the air everyday.

Alberta Aeroengines is constantly building engines for us to keep us moving. And is currently building the engine for DWY.

Trilogy Avionics that installed EJG panel and does all are radio work is always willing to work around our crazy schedule.
I feel grateful that we have such amazing people that help us do what we do.

Thank you

A controller in abby created a mobile app that teaches pilots how to read runway and taxiway signs. The app is free. Its in the hopes that it reduces runway incursions.

Students that fly the C172 need to be more careful to not hold brakes while taking off or landing. I have been noticing that the C172 have been getting flat spots in the tires. If practicing short fields be sure not to skid.

Something nice about breaking in a nice smooth new engine on an overcast smooth day. Have not had to touch the controls in 20min.

Congratulations to Tithi Mathur on passing her commercial pilot flight test August 5th 2024.

Anyone that follows us knows that we put allot of hours on our aircraft in a year. As a result we figure out what products are good and not. Back in February AQD got its new RAM engine and at the same time the tachometer needed to be replaced for one with different markings. The old one was still functional. We put a Mitchell aircraft products tach in the aircraft. The plane flew more then 400 hours since the install. The tach was slow to respond from day 1 we were told that could be normal. Then it just failed. It should have been under warranty. It had visible brass in the front of the case like a glitter bomb. When it failed we noticed that the tach time said 45 hours ( we don't use tach time, we use a hobbs meter so it was not noticed). says there is oil in the tach and will not warranty it. The tach was replaced with a digital one as I can't have the down time waiting for a tach. The cable had no oil on the end which is on my shelf. Their warranty is supposed to be for 2 years so privately you might not put that kind of time on the plane before it fails. This post is to inform people of a bad product.

On the other side Aerospace logic got us a digital tach that could be programmed with the correct markings in less then 24hours and was easy to get ahold of with install questions. As we need, tach's will be replaced with theirs. It took 3 days to find out what to do with the failed one.
