We are celebrating our 2nd year anniversary today ! It’s been a whirlwind 2 years . . . We are so very grateful to all our wonderful patients who have supported us, and for our amazing staff . . . Couldn’t do it without you !

We are very lucky to have Janene working in our office ! She brings a youthful, positive, caring energy with her everyday. She picked out some new Tiffany frames to match her beautiful energy !

Dry Eyes…anyone else feeling like their eyes are scratchy, burning, and making it hard to wear contacts? Radio Frequency is a new treatment for Dry Eyes. It heats up the oil glands in our eyelids (think hot stone massage), and than the clogged oil is expressed out (think Thai massage). This allows for healthy oil to be produced for our tears. Makes my dry eyes much more manageable and allows me to wear my contacts all day. Call us if you would like more info !

Lorelei was in our office this week for a follow up exam. She likes reading and figure skating, and like many of our kids is nearsighted. She’s wearing new technology lenses in her glasses called Miyosmart. They have been proven to slow down nearsightedness by an average of 60%! Come talk to us if you want more information!

Here’s Chloe ! She’s 5 and just had her first eye exam today ! Pleased to report her eyes are healthy, well coordinated, and has perfect vision. Nice job Chloe !

Nutrasea High Potency Omega 3. I’m happy to announce we have brought in a great new Omega 3 supplement for Dry Eyes. It has all the recommendations for helping to treat Dry Eye Disease. (1500mg EPA and 500mg DHA and in the triglyceride form). We have the liquid which is lemon flavoured and the gel caps which are mint flavoured. There is no fishy aftertaste ! Jessie was born in Abbotsford and grew up in Chilliwack. She attended BCIT and received her diploma in forestry. In 2016, she made the switch to the optics industry. She is committed to helping every patient finding glasses that fit their style, in their price range. Outside of work, she has a passion for stock car racing. A mother to a cheeky, rambunctious little boy, she hopes he will follow in mommy and daddy’s footsteps.
