What a rich and powerful weekend together as a team!!
Beautiful things emerge when we make space for connection, openness and vulnerability with each other. ❤️

Introducing Katalyst! This is our co-developed 12 week group ketamine program, lead with Dr. Hillary McBride and the medical team at Upstream Health Clinic.
Katalyst is a 12-week-long program and is broken down to 4 weeks of preparation and relationship building in an environment of trust, 4 weeks designated to the ketamine treatments, and 4 weeks of treatment integration. Each week, participants will meet for 2 hours for a group session facilitated by 2 professionals. There will be a maximum of 8 participants per group. Within the group, we will build connections with ourselves and each other through body-based practices, information and learning, and sharing our experiences with each other. All facilitators will be introduced in the first session. The content of the teachings offered in the sessions will focus on learning about the strategies we develop which contribute to unhelpful patterns internally and relationally, the defenses we use which help us manage but keep us from a life of presence and connectedness, the process of emotions, how trauma is manifested and articulated in the sensations and movement of the body, how we can begin to set down the defensive strategies we no longer need, and what it is like to feel good in the here and now. We will practice taking risks to first meet, and then share part of ourselves we had to learn to hide, all within the container of the group relationships, where each person can be compassionately witnessed by other group members.
In addition to the 12 weekly group meetings, 3 in-person ketamine sessions will occur on 3 separate weekends throughout the program. The KAT session will be approximately 4 hours, from entering the space, to medicine work, to closing. Please note you will need to arrange a ride home from the KAT session.
How much does it cost?
$4200.00 (Includes: physician and psychological consult, 12 week group program, 3 KAT sessions and your prescription)
Please email [email protected] for more information.
Groups start the third week of January.

Whether you visit us for individual or family therapy, group therapy, yoga, or RMT we will invite you into our spaces believing:

You are worthy NOW

Already.

Not because you're here, but because you ARE

Daniele Buschman has been working with clients out of our Chilliwack space for nearly a year and is thrilled to now be welcoming them into the *new* space at

Here is what Daniele has to say about being a therapist:

"As an individual therapist, it is a great privilege to accompany people on their journeys of healing and growth. I work to foster a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can develop a relationship that is healing and supportive.

Fundamentally, I believe that we are each born with the innate ability to heal and grow and that all people are worthy of love and belonging. The challenges and pain we experience don’t mean that we are broken or flawed; instead, they are invitations for us to discover more about ourselves and to grow."

Pain is pain. Suffering is suffering. There is no math to categorize its value, there is no formula to map out how healing will take.

What we do know is that there is hope, that there are more resources now than there have ever been to help guide people toward wellness, and that cutting-edge research is taking place to provide more options for people who are desperate to deal with their pain.

Pain is real.

Practices like breathing, meditation, yoga, stretching, journaling, art...

There is a long lineup of things that may help us regulate our emotional responses and journaling is one of those tools.

Some of us keep a running document in our google drive and some of us have a notebook beside our bed, some of us are still considering this as a practice.

Do you journal? Where do you keep it and how often do you use it?

In partnership with Refinery House, we work with a team of midwives that service the Fraser Valley area from Maple Ridge all the way to Hope.

So often the journey to welcoming children into families is filled with joy and celebration, but we're aware that many people suffer loss along the way.

We're here for the celebration, the trials of transition, and also for the grief of loss.

On this Thanksgiving, we're thankful for all the ways we've been provided for and the ways we're able to participate in being with others in their healing way.

We're grateful for new space to host our therapists, yoga, and RMT at their location.

We'd love to see you there!

It seems like the year of mental health awareness. While today marks an awareness day on the calendar we truly believe that:

There has never been a greater time in history to recreate the therapeutic space that addresses human suffering and provides whole person healing.

We're on the hunt for more ways to welcome people into spaces and systems of healing. There is hope, and if you have a hard time having it today our group of therapists and practitioners are here holding that hope for you.

Feelings can be both inspiring and immobilizing. Taking time to separate who we are from the way we feel is helpful in creating a path forward through the trickier ones. This same strategy helps us appreciate the invigorating ones.

Our newest therapists all receive regular, direct supervision from our most experienced therapists. We're committed to sharing our knowledge with one another to ensure the most consistent environment and service possible. We'd love to have you in here.

As expecting parents, you’re bombarded with more information―and opinions―than ever about the “right” approach to pregnancy and childbirth. How do you navigate this ocean of information, not only to find the best practical solutions for you personally but also to embrace this incredible opportunity for emotional and spiritual transformation that comes from bringing a child into this world? With Transformed by Birth, Dr. Britta Bushnell has created the transformative, intelligent, and empowering pregnancy and childbirth guide you’ve been waiting for.

Childbirth is more than just having a baby. Transformed by Birth invites you to discover childbirth as a transformational experience that alters your knowing of who you are and lasts long after pregnancy and birth are over.

That sinking feeling that comes with a memory of regret doesn't need to send us spiraling into guilt and shame. We can remember the moments we wish we'd made a different choice and thank them for helping us learn a new way.

There are fathers among us who are doing admirable work. Today we honour the fathers who seek out their own wellness. Who know that repaired wounds make more room for us to provide love and attention to the young ones that we're raising. Healing self is one of the most impactful ways to participate in healing the world

Art therapy. The goal of art therapy is to utilize the creative process to help people explore self-expression and, in doing so, find new ways to gain personal insight and develop new coping skills. When used in therapy sessions, it assists the client and therapist in communicating internal experiences.
