Replaced an old linoleum floor with a ditra membrane and tile for this customers front entrance.

Aurora master bathroom project is complete.
Full shower system with large format tile and an envelope style slab floor. Custom shower niche, new paint colours throughout with a flush mounted fan exhaust.

Envelope shower floor is cut and being fine tuned to match all the grout lines up.

Walls and mitred shower niche are complete. Moving onto an envelope shower floor.

A few small repairs in this ensuite bathroom. New water supply line and water valve on the toilet. New towel bar installed and a new handheld shower head.

waterproof membrane is complete. Now we do a 24hr water/leak test to confirm everything is good before moving on to tile. We mark a line on the wall just below the height of the curb. If the water line dips below this line over the next 24hrs, we have a leak somewhere.

When we find mold, everything needs to be replaced. This is why drywall in a shower as a tile backer board is always a bad choice. We decided to go with shower system on this project to offer a fully water proof system so mold is never an issue again.

Framing and plumbing is complete. We installed new insulation and vapour barrier on this shower because the previous shower base was leaking and mold was found. This should cut down on a small amount of noise in the master bedroom. Shower walls are going up and the shower system should be completed next week to do a water test.

Finished up demo. Started framing and plumbing today.

TRUCK UPDATE: Finally finished our truck storage. New cap with signage turned out great. and for all our storage and organization needs.

Started using about a year ago for our everyday used hand tools. We have a trailer filled with packouts but these become a pain to get into when you need things from each case. The Veto bags have held up very well over the last year and are now going to be our preference for tools bags.

We do so much more than just renovations and repairs. We can also help with the odd jobs you have around the house. We helped this client in Aurora move all these flag and cobblestones to their new home in Newmarket. The client invested a lot into her gardens and didn't want to leave them behind in the move.

Refinished these basement stairs and handrail to match our client new basement renovation theme. We used oak to build these new stair treads. We also had to extend out and cover these stair stringers to close the gaps between the drywall.

Composite decking can be a great alternative to wood but if you don't let it climatize before cutting and installation you can end up with large gaps at the seams. We solved this issue by installing a different coloured composite, which made it feel like a design feature.

Our clients in Aurora had their downspout come down in a wind storm. We helped them out by rebuilding the drain pipe as well as extending it for proper drainage away from the foundation.

New flooring and doors going in today to finish off this basement remodel. An under pad like this really helps to add some warmth and padding over a concrete sub-floor.

All new shaker style doors and black hardware. New flooring throughout the entire house as well as new casing and baseboards.

Cabinets were extended to the ceiling and painted white. All new hardware. New countertops, subway backsplash, sink and faucet. New window and flooring.
A much needed update to this 70 year old home.

We opened up the entryway to the kitchen and added some faux beams to create a bit of a rustic farm house theme.

Bathroom completed. Before and after. This bathroom was built from the studs up. Everything is new and looking clean.

UPDATES: Bathroom tile is finished. This is a nice clean and modern colour scheme with a funky vintage floor tile.

UPDATES - Drywall is almost done and prepping for primer and paint. An old bedroom closet was boxed in and being converted into built-in shelving storage.
Hallway entrance needed to be boxed in. It was converted from a doorway. Bathroom installed and ready for tile. Lots of drywall fixes on this project. 50 plus years of nail holes and wall dings all fixed up.
