Bedford Legion Branch 95

To Serve Veterans and their families, to Promote Remembrance and to Serve our Communities and Country

07/22/2024

The Remembrance Theme for this year’s Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships is the 10-year Anniversary of the end of Canada’s mission in Afghanistan.

The 2024 Legion Nationals gold, silver and bronze medals presented to the top young athletes in Calgary will visually commemorate that 2001-2014 mission. The image found on the reverse side of the 2024 medals is designed to foster understanding and gratitude for the members of our Canadian Armed Forces who served in Afghanistan.
