All sections came together with their families last night for an end of year bbq. This included swim-up/advancement for several youth to their new sections.

While the summer time doesn’t end the scouting program we do take a break from regular weekly meetings.

During our JOTT camp last weekend, the troop used their compass skills to locate an injured stormtrooper.

He was rescued, brought back to camp where he received first aid and cpr, then he turned from the dark side to the light side just in time for group campfire.

Happy Founder’s Day!

Every year on 22 February, we take this opportunity to recognise the birthday of Scouting’s Founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell, and to celebrate the lasting legacy of the Scout Movement which for over 100 years has empowered young people with the life and leadership skills to improve their communities, and create a better world.

What began with a small group of Scouts on Brownsea Island, has grown into a worldwide Movement of 57 million young people and volunteers united together by the Scout Promise, a shared set of values, and a commitment towards service.
