👨‍🍳 Eduardo: With 15 years of experience working with renowned Mexican franchises, Eduardo has brought his exceptional culinary skills to Tacoland. For the past year, he spent some time delighting Toronto with his exquisite flavors.

🍰 Benito: Our beloved pastry master, Benito, boasts over 20 years of experience. He has worked in prestigious bakeries and prominent restaurants in Mexico. Benito, who also spent the last couple of years in Toronto, treats us daily with his freshly made churros and delectable desserts.

Our dedicated team works tirelessly to bring you the freshest and highest-quality dishes at Tacoland. We're excited to launch a new menu next week, and we can't wait for you to try it!

The story behind our famous enchiladas.

When you move to a different country, one of the significant challenges is adapting to new foods. For one of our owners, a cherished dish from home was enchiladas. After arriving to Canada, she often found herself missing the distinctive flavor of the enchiladas suizas from a famous Mexican franchise.

Determined to recreate this beloved dish, she embarked on a culinary journey. Over the years, she experimented with countless recipes and ingredients, tirelessly striving to replicate the taste she remembered so fondly. Finally, after much perseverance, she perfected her own version of the enchiladas suizas.

On a visit back to Mexico, she eagerly sought out the original enchiladas that had inspired her quest. To her surprise, she discovered that she now preferred her own recipe. This personal triumph became her signature dish, one she proudly served to guests at her home.

Today, her meticulously crafted enchiladas have won the hearts of many. They have become a standout favorite at Tacoland, delighting hundreds of customers and earning the title of our best seller. The story of our enchiladas is a testament to the passion and dedication that goes into every dish we serve.

Pico de gallo is a fresh, uncooked mixture of finely chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and lime juice. It's a vibrant and zesty condiment commonly used in Mexican cuisine, perfect for adding a burst of flavor to tacos, nachos, grilled meats, or as a dip with tortilla chips. Our Pico de Gallo is made fresh every morning by our kitchen staff.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your support and feedback. Recently, we received a suggestion to add more flavor to our meat, and we’d like to take a moment to explain our process.

Our tacos are crafted to provide an authentic Mexican experience, which means our flavors are balanced across all the ingredients. Traditional tacos are often enjoyed with sauce and a squeeze of lemon. If the meat alone were heavily seasoned, the combined flavors might become overpowering, especially for those not accustomed to intense flavors. On the other hand, if the meat is eaten without the other components, it might taste less flavorful.

For those who prefer their meat with a stronger flavor, please let us know, and we can adjust it to your liking. However, if you enjoy your taco with all its ingredients, you’ll discover the balanced and authentic flavor that we strive to achieve.
