Woolly Good Rug Hookers
The path of an artist is never linear, never assured, always flexing to environment and circumstance. Showing up through one’s art is an act of self-compassion and a perhaps a layer of new perspective for those we share with. Thank you Michelle Palmer Artist for your decades of sharing. Inspiring!

Happy with progress, but need to put aside again for now. Other pressing issues. Keep hooking. Keep breathing. Stay ❤️
Just about drove Marty and I off the road for this as we are heading home. Anyone believe in the Divine now?
Marty has not left my side. How I woke this morning. Harold Cromwell is another piece of the puzzle. All coming together like charged magnets now. Boom, boom, boom. Out off-trail hiking around yesterday, found many untouched remains of Black Settlements. Another overwhelming day. So much work ahead, but have made new like-minded friends.

So freaking hard to concentrate on small screens here. Only the necessities getting done with computer work today.
Coffee rolling. Large day ahead. Thank you George Duncan Design for the feature of my artwork in Gia’s garden. ❤️ Love what‘s been added to it. 😘

I've had a simmering migraine that just won't quit. No longer sleeping more than two hours at a time. Waking with jaws clenched and speeding heart. Going out onto the street and into shops for basic needs we pass each other, exchanging a knowing nod and drum up a smile for their children. People, not much has changed. Please look at these Catlett images and envision any group or population that are serving, in service, serving it up, or just barely surviving. Listen closely to the words of Lift Every Voice. Do it again and again until it sinks in. ALL people are worth our time, attention, and care. Do NOT swipe by with the audacity of thought that “it's Them” or “not my issue”. This is not a “Black” message - it's a humane message by and for all humans everywhere all the time.

Attn: Maritimers & Atlantic Canadians. Please note and share within your artistic networks and all artistically-inclined philanthropic spheres of influence. ART is an important resource and reference for anything inclined towards solving a problem. It's makers are those completely worn out with trying to influence those that do not wish to listen. Instead, they're making pretty pictures to comfort themselves and those they love -
