Shout out and stamp of approval!!! to a new breakfast restaurant in North Burlington (Millcroft shopping plaza) it’s in the Appleby and Upper Middle , Metro, Canadian tire plaza, way up the top by Shoppers but closer to Dulux paint . How about taking Dad there tomorrow? The staff is so lovely and the food is great and plentiful. The restaurant layout is one that you could go by yourself for breakfast and not feel alone. So many booths 🤗🤗👋

It's Sunday night, and I am sitting in a booth, reflecting on what a whirlwind these first 5 days have been. We are so grateful for the amazing turnout! I never expected line-ups on our first weekend. I was blown away.

Although we had a few hiccups on Saturday, longer than normal wait times (at times), all in all, it was a great weekend. Everyone was so kind and so understanding. Today, Sunday was amazing and went so smoothly. I think we have (almost) found our groove. We promise to continue to do everything in our power to get faster and faster.

We loved meeting new families and friends and loved seeing our regulars from Clarkson!! It was so heartwarming to see and meet you all! Thank you to everyone who came out for our first weekend, for the beautiful plants, flowers, and treats!! We feel so lucky and so blessed to have you all in our lives!! We couldn't do this without you!

Once again, thank you so much for welcoming us!

To all our loyal and amazing customers, you have supported us through our highs and lows. You have celebrated milestones,  happy times and sad times with us. We have hosted wedding parties, pre ceremony and post, we have had a proposal here! We have celebrated wins. We have celebrated loses. We have celebrated births and deaths. We have had many tears here and many laughs. We have watched so many kids grow up!! We have had first dates, blind dates, final dates and so much more!!
We see some of you every single day,  some of you, when you visit your families and friends once a year. We see you before work shifts, after work shifts, and some every weekend.
We love seeing the retired teachers club (To hell with the bell!! Lol) monthly and all the sports teams that we have had the privilege to sponsor. The police, the firefighters, Bell, Alectura, Peel school board, and so many more!!!!!
We have been the hosts of many of your work lunches and breakfasts. We have been an office space for many too.
You have all become familiar faces, you feel like family,  you feel like home! Now the time has come to say good bye to this Daylight Grill location.
As you all may have heard,  we are being torn down.  Closing this location was never our intention.  This was like home to us.  Most of you know this was our dad's restaurant and we forever wanted to be here because this is where we felt his presence most.
We are going to miss you all so much.  We are going to miss seeing you here and we are going to miss everything about being here.
Our next phase of this journey is taking us to a beautiful spot in Burlington.  We promise you though that if we are able to open another location in the coming years we will be back!! Until then, we hope to see you all in our new home in Burlington.
Burlington, we can't wait to meet you all. We hope to make you feel at home as we did in Clarkson. We hope you will love having your breakfast with us no matter what the time of day.  We will be working hard to have our new Burlington location ready as soon as we can!
