Chef to Table is seeking an experienced chef in Calgary to create a rotating menu of several meals each week and be responsible for cooking up to a few hundred orders of those meals in one day. You can do this on a part-time basis with a flexible schedule to suit your needs.

This is a great opportunity to use your experience and get creative. You can come up with new meals every week and try different things. The menu is completely up to you. You can start immediately if you are available.

We are delivering thousands of fresh, healthy meals every week. We post a new menu each week and collect orders from our customers in Calgary and Edmonton. They include everyone from busy working mothers to retired seniors. We offer affordable meals delivered to their door every week.

We are not just saving them time — we are giving them a chance to bring their family together without being forced to eat fast food all the time, or a chance to continue eating like they used to when they were cooking for a bigger family.

Our orders are increasing every month and we need to be prepared to handle that. Your meals will go out to thousands of families this year. We get a lot of positive comments so you can see how they are helping a lot of people!

We will want you to come up with your own meals each week. We will post those menus online and collect orders for one week, then let you know the total quantity a few days before the delivery day so you have time to prepare.

You will be responsible for grocery shopping and cooking the meals (with help if needed) so they are ready in time for the deliveries. We do deliveries Monday and Thursday afternoons each week. We have a commercial kitchen space (SE Calgary) to work in. The kitchen time can be scheduled to fit your needs. The deliveries are prepared there so once you are done cooking and you leave the meals in the cooler, the delivery team takes over.

To do this you will need enough experience to plan the menus and figure out what ingredients and cooking time are needed to make the right quantity.

Our customers want to see a menu with lots of variety and creative options for their meals. You will be able to try out all the ideas you have for new meals.

Although you will be cooking separately, you will be able to work with our head chef to see what we are doing now and learn from his 30 years of experience leading some of Calgary’s upscale kitchens and working as an in-home personal chef.
