There's a subtle difference between this Vanilla Bean Egg Tart and our Classic Egg Tart, in that the Classic Egg Tart incorporates a hint of cinnamon, paying greater homage to the history of these amazing Portuguese Egg Tarts.

The Vanilla Bean, meanwhile, adds a rich, deep vanilla flavour, enhancing what many typically regard as the classic taste of egg tarts.

What makes Portuguese Egg tarts special?

Portuguese Egg tart has a history of over 300 years. They were first created by Catholic monks at the erónimos Monastery in Lisbon. When the monastery faced financial difficulties, the monks began selling the tarts at a nearby sugar refinery, eventually becoming a beloved delight throughout Portugal and beyond.

We are planning to launch this delicious treat in September, and we'll keep you posted with the exact dates next week! Stay tuned!

We’ve uploaded a spoiler story few weeks ago and were thrilled to see how much our WOW fans loved the news about our new location!! Thank you so much for your support🫶

At our Cross Iron Mills location, we will offer our signature WOW bakery pastries, donuts, and cakes, along with drinks from WOW Cafe. Plus, we will have Gelato in store.
