Introducing our fall feature drinks!

The Orange Cardamom Latte is our own recipe that took some trial and error but finally we have something we are incredibly proud to offer. We wanted to celebrate Ali’s origins by using some of the beautiful flavours that come out of Lebanon and share them with you.

Next we have a fall favourite, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. The syrup we use is full of bold flavour that pairs nicely with our espresso but makes for a great steamer as well.

Both these drinks are made with vegan friendly syrups so everyone can enjoy.

They are sold as whole bean but we can grind them for whatever set up you have at home. Don’t forget to ask our preferred recipe so you can have a perfect cup each time.

Cookies for breakfast! This purple cookie might look a little strange but it’s flavour is on point. Introducing ube, white chocolate, and sesame cookie! This was definitely an experiment gone right, I can’t get enough of them!

Meet Haven! She’s our weekday morning barista so chances are you’ve seen her for your commute coffee by now.

Tell me a bit about yourself?
My name is Haven and I just moved back here from Vancouver where I studied makeup artistry, which is my main passion, but coffee is coming in at a close second. I’m learning how much goes into creating good coffee and it has been a really exciting journey. I’m really excited to be here to fine tune my new skills.

One of my favourite afternoon treats is the cardamom orange cinnamon bun! It has all the comfort of a cinnamon bun, but with a little kick for those adult tastebuds.
We made sure to get them specially made vegan friendly too so everyone has a chance to try them!

They titles this piece “cherry bomb,” and it really is the bomb!

Paige and Gen took inspiration from the cherries growing on the coffee plant. The flow, the vibrant colours, and bold lines seriously make me smile every time I look at it.

A pretty rosetta for this fine Thursday!

Well hello there!

My name is Melissa, and I am the co-owner of Fringe Coffee, located in the beautiful community of Montgomery.

While I want to introduce myself, I’m still trying to get comfortable with the whole show your face thing! So for now, I’m sharing my rainbow glasses with you.

In addition to owning Fringe, I am also a full-time teacher. Don’t ask me how I do it though, because I honestly don’t know. It’s been a whirlwind of excitement and stress and long hours and no sleep. I can tell you that much. 😊

Opening this coffee shop was a huge leap from the world of teaching, and yet, I’ve also found many similarities. One of the similarities has been all about connections. I connect with my students on a daily basis, and now, I’m connecting with all of you who come into the coffee shop for our amazing coffee and my incredible microfoam (see my awesome ghost latte art). 😉🤣

I look forward to sharing a bit more about me as we continue this journey. I may even build up the courage to post a full-on face pic in the future. Stay tuned!

In case we haven’t met yet…I’m Jenna! I’m the incredibly professional manager of this awesome cafe and I couldn’t love it more.

Little about myself…
I have a big passion for coffee and have dipped my feet into many aspects of it from being a barista to a coffee tech to not totally failing at roasting a batch here and there.

I absolutely love sharing my passion with people, so if you see me at the cafe, feel free to pick my brain about anything coffee or equipment related.

Coffee Tech tip: Back flush your espresso machine! Seasoning is for cast iron pans.

My milk foam has come a long way since I first started learning!

I’ve spent many an hour practicing and observing how the best of the best do it.

That latte art though? Ok the first one is mine (reminded me of a friendly ghost), but the second photo is my microfoam and Jenna’s mad latte art skillz.

I’ll get there right!?!? 😬🤷🏼‍♀️
