and speaking of surprises... I had my turn to shoot a wedding in full blasting hot sun, which, let’s just say, is a photographer’s ultimate test of patience and skill. But, just like superheroes, I think we pulled it off! 💍☀️✨

These two were the absolute sweetest together 🤍 - with the weather finally starting to get better in Calgary it feels so good to get outside and shoot sessions like this. 🌷

I tried some new software last night and it completely reversed an album I was editing, so brb while I figure that out 😄

In the meantime, here’s a photo from the workshop I just attended! 🤍🌸

I told myself no more workshops unless it was truly really worth what I’d be bringing home from it. So when Nicole launched hers I honestly couldn’t say no.

I met her in Banff last year and she is one of the most genuine, authentic, creative, knowledgeable, beautiful and personable people I’ve met within all things Photography. She is someone that builds others up no matter where they are and truly wants everyone to succeed.

If anyone was on the fence with using her as a mentor, or attending any of her own workshops, I 100% recommend it. No matter how new or advanced you are in your photography, being in her presence will reignite your passion and creativity. Everyone can, and will take something home from hearing her speak about photography or observing her techniques.

There's a new little boy in town.
Everyone, meet Walker Anthony Thibault 🥰

This will hopefully be one of the final sessions under the Marshman Photogenics name!

As most of you are aware, 4 months ago I decided to quit my job of 9 1/2 years, pack up and uproot my life to the West Coast. There wasn't a lot of notice so I just dove into the process 100%.

It's been a crazy amazing ride so far but my Photography definitely took the back burner while I focused on my new job and got settled into my new life 🙂

That being said - Marshman Photogenics will also be getting a fresh start with a re-brand in the near future so stay tuned and thank you all for sticking around and supporting me even though I've been a bit MIA!! 🥰❤️

Oh and here's my beautiful friend Andrea Burnie and her adorable baby boy that just turned 3 months yesterday!!

One day I was walking my dog, and I came across this family trying to take self-portraits for Christmas. COVID was still strong so I hesitated but I couldn't help but offer to take photos for them. They were already dressed up so beautifully I really wanted them to have good photos without the stress and hassle of doing them themselves. So I ran home and grabbed my camera. I only had 10 minutes to work with because the kids were over it - here's a couple of what I was able to capture ! :)
