I Met Chris In 2007 Through A Mutual Friend And Although I Was In Living In The Uk At The Time ,Chris Embraced Me With Unconditional Love And A Non Judgemental Approach, From The Very First Day We Spoke On The Telephone.
Musically Speaking, Chris & Chrissie (Stazz Productions) and I Recorded My Debut 12-14 Track Album In His Toronto Studio In Such Short Space Of Time, With More Hit Recordings To Follow When Chris Eventually Relocated To Calgary.
As Much As It Saddens Me To Pen These Few Lines,I Am Left With Fondest Memories Of Someone Who Actually Believed In Me.
Chris Had A Nickname That Chrissie Let Me In On 'Sweet Wrist', Which Was Due To His Flexibility And Pan Playing Skills And Although Chris Disliked The Name And The Joke That Followed Suit 'He Does Play Pan BoiEmojiEmojiEmoji',He Reluctantly Got Used To Me Calling Him The Name,On Some Fond Occasions.
Chris Was A Father, A Brother, A Multi Talented Musician With A Sense Of Direction, Not To Mention A Headstrong Visionary.
I Was Fortunate To Have Met His Children Chrissie, Natasha, Adanna and Antonia; As Well As His Step-Children, Alyah, Anthony And Aaron; And His Sibling Dale.
May Jah Grant Mama Gloria, Your Sisters Carol, Louanne And Zellee And The Entire Copeland Family Both Home And Abroad, The Much Needed Strength To Make Sense Of This Sad Loss And To Support One Another During This Sensitive Time Too.
