Another is in the books and we came home with another podium in some slick conditions! P3 overall after a small (and very lucky) visit in a ditch resulted in just a flat that we drove out for the last 8km of SS3. Great battles with all day but ultimately he and Jamie kept their noses clean while ours were in the ditch. Great prep event for the in 6 weeks! Smiles all around 😁

It’s rally week! The season resumes with the Kananaskis Rally this weekend! We had great luck last year, finishing P2 in ’s first time as a driver so we’re hoping for a repeat podium this year! Come out to Cochrane on Friday afternoon for Parc Exposé and Powderface Trail on Saturday to watch the stages! More info on the link in bio!

Now that all the dust has settled, it’s time for our post-event recap! The 50th edition of the was one of the most demanding and challenging events in a long time. Extremely hot, dusty, and rough conditions wreaked havoc on many teams, and we weren’t immune to them either. Boost issues and boiling fuel plagued us for the first loop on day 1 and more boost issues on the first stage of day 2. Luckily makeshift repairs held (swipe to see the world class repair) and we were able to cross the finish line in P10 overall national, P6 overall regional, and P1 Novice in the national and regional. Mission accomplished but the pace was there for more when the car was going the way it should be. Now it’s a long break before the next rally so we will tear down, fix whatever needs to be fixed, and change over whatever needs to be fixed so we’re stronger than ever 💪🏼

A little throwback to our first time out east - the 2006 Rallye Baie Des Chaleurs

Not really sure where to start because this was such an emotional weekend… this was the first rally out west since the sudden passing of .sz as well as John Munroe, another big personality in Western Canadian rallying. This rally was certainly for them both.

The rally started off a bit hectic, with a co-driver backing out last minute due to work commitments (understandable, we still love you .sikora). Thankfully of Deen Team/ CRT Rally Team was able to jump in last minute after CRT withdrew from the event. Not only were they able to help us with a co-driver, .deen and were also able to help with some last minute prep including mounting and studding new winter tires for us and installing our fire suppression system. Thanks guys!!

The event itself went waaay better than we ever could have expected. Nerves were high, so the goal was simple: “last but finished”. Well finished we did, but it certainly wasn’t last… P2 in ’s driving debut was a very pleasant surprise. This result wouldn’t have been possible without the help from our sponsors ZZ Construction Ltd, Cutting Edge Graphix Ltd, Trial Engineering, Wheel Xpert, a little good sportsmanship help from to help us get to the finish line, as well as the support from all our friends and family.

Emotional day today. Special thanks to our friend and partner Anna and her team at for designing and printing these memorial stickers for Zebe. Now that the dust has settled (pun intended), it’s time for a recap of the 2021 Rocky Mountain Rally

First off, a huge thank you to everyone that reached out to us before, during, and after the event - for the warm welcome back to the sport and all the best wishes. The rally family is a strong one! 💪🏼

The goal for the rally was to shake the new car down and learn the car build as a team. We’re proud to say we did just that! Having not competed together in almost 10 years, getting into a rhythm takes time. We had some small issues midday that were quickly resolved in service and we were improving on our times with each passing stage.

Unfortunately before the final stage, we had to withdraw from the event as a high-speed compression caused a minor back problem for the driver (Zebe is good and recovering). The car ran flawlessly all day and still has a lot left in the tank (and so does the team). It was great to see everyone back at a event. We’re looking forward to next season!
