😎😎The science behind facial acupuncture🤓🤓

On the face, the acupuncturist will insert 40 to 70 tiny and painless needles. As the needles puncture the skin, they create wounds within its threshold, which are called positive microtraumas. When your body senses these wounds, it goes into repair mode. This is the same idea microneedling uses to get bright, anti-aging results — except acupuncture is a bit less intense, averaging about 50 punctures. Microneedling applies hundreds of pricks through a rolling device.

These punctures stimulate your lymphatic and circulatory system, which work together to deliver nutrients and oxygen to your skin cells, nourishing skin from the inside out. This helps even out your complexion and promote your skin’s glow. The positive microtraumas also stimulates the production of collagen. This helps improve elasticity, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.

👉Measles: Symptoms and Diagnosis🤓

Symptoms of measles
Symptoms can appear 7 to 21 days after being infected with the measles virus. People infected with measles can spread it to others before they have symptoms.
Initial symptoms include:
fever
cough
runny nose
red, watery eyes
Small, white spots may appear inside the mouth and throat 2 to 3 days after symptoms begin.
About 3 to 7 days after symptoms begin, a rash that looks like small red spots:
develops on the face
spreads down the body, arms and legs
The rash can last 4 to 7 days.
Most people recover from measles within 2 or 3 weeks.

❤👉Diagnosing measles
It's very important to diagnose measles early to help prevent it from spreading to other people.
Health care providers may suspect measles based on your symptoms and your possible exposure to the virus. For example, they may ask you if:
you're aware of an outbreak in your community
you've had exposure to someone with measles
you've recently travelled to a place where measles is present
A health care provider will likely collect a sample to confirm the diagnosis with a lab test, which may include:
a blood test
a urine test
swabs from the back of your nose or throat

It is a needle-based alternative therapy that may help some people lose weight. Practiced in traditional Chinese medicine for millennia, acupuncture is believed to stimulate the body’s flow of energy (“chi”). Acupuncture for weight loss aims to restore energy flow in certain body areas to help correct imbalances contributing to weight problems. Acupuncture is thought to have a beneficial effect on insulin resistance, glucose, and lipid metabolism, as well as appetite.

🧐🤓What are the best acupuncture points for asthma?🧐

Both the lung and heart meridians are believed to play a role in treating conditions related to the lungs, including asthma.

👉Lung meridian: includes 11 acupuncture points that run from the upper middle portion of the chest to the tip of the thumb, along the upper portion of the arm. LU5, which is the acupuncture point located on the inner portion of the elbow, is specifically associated with respiratory health.

👉Heart meridian: includes 9 acupuncture points that run from the armpit to the tip of the little finger, along the lower portion of the arm. It is believed that acupuncture points along this meridian can affect the lungs indirectly.

🧐How to overcome the Winter Blues?

❤The following are some ways that may be useful for you❤:
1. Get enough rest
Facing shorter days, less sunshine, and a lack of activity, we may feel restless and under-stimulated. We may begin wondering if we’re getting enough sleep. Know yourself and your body and when you should be getting more rest. Practice habits that will aid in sleep and help you achieve your sleeping goals. One way to do this is by setting an alarm on your phone for when you should be going to bed. You can also set a time limit on how much TV you watch in the evening. Remember to keep your goals realistic - find what works for you to ensure you’re getting adequate rest.

2. Know how to keep yourself busy, and when to take it slow
It can be difficult to find ways to keep ourselves busy in the cold winter months, especially if you have small children. Activities such as tobogganing, skating, building a snowman, or snow-fort can keep us busy if the weather is mild, but how can we fill an entire day when it’s below freezing outside? Indoor activities can only go so far. Art projects, hide and seek, movie nights, and game nights just to name a few.

Look to your local community for indoor and outdoor events to keep you and your family busy during the colder months. Remember to also keep in mind when it’s time to take it slow. Set aside days or times of rest for you and your family. Finding a happy balance between keeping busy and adequate rest will contribute to overall health and help you overcome the winter blues.

3. Be kind to yourself
Develop healthy eating habits that contribute to your overall health. The same applies to exercise. It can be difficult to stay active in the winter months, however, find what works for you and develop a plan to do it regularly. Whether it be a short walk, a winter activity, or an at-home work out on your bedroom floor - stay active! Finally, surround yourself with people who are kind, helpful, and supportive. Go for coffee with a friend or catch up with a relative over the phone. Remember to reach out for support when you need it.
