It was bitter sweet for my clients Ceci and Thomas selling their family house in my own neighborhood, Hawkwood. They had lived here for over 30 years, raised their kids here, but felt it was time to downsize. My good friend approached me to sell her Mums property as she was executor and dealing with the estate. The house is older and needs some work and she didn’t know what to keep doing and had some people approach her to buy privately for a very low price. 🙄 It’s always bitter sweet and a more emotional sale in these circumstances.
