Deodorant is SO EASY to make and such an incredible way of kicking unnecessary chemicals and toxins to the curb. 🦵🚫

I got this recipe from and I am so happy to be sharing it with my community too!

Here's the recipe if you want to give it a try:

6 tablespoons coconut oil
1/4 cup baking soda (aluminum-free)
1/4 cup arrowroot powder
8 to 20 drops of essential oils (your choice)

Highly recommend playing around with different essential oils until you hit a combo you love! 😍

When your patient has struggled with 10/10 painful periods her whole life and only 4 months after being in my program has a painless cycle 👉 Hell ya we're going to celebrate! 🎉

Here's how we did it: 👇

⭐️ A thorough intake, where we discovered she had a history of a serious parasitic infection and bacterial vaginosis almost monthly since that time (a.k.a microbiome imbalance).

⭐️ Lots of lab testing, where we confirmed gut dysbiosis and found a ton of environmental toxins (endocrine disrupters) and high levels of inflammation.

⭐️ A 10-week detox protocol that focused on optimizing liver, gut, kidney function.

⭐️ Supplemental implementation, that targeted inflammation, parasite cleansing and binders to pull out the high toxic load (no we didn’t do all of that at the same time).

⭐️ Counselling, to help set boundaries, set priorities, regulate the nervous system, and some time with a therapist to work through unprocessed trauma.

I’m super proud of my patient for putting in the work, taking the plunge, investing into herself and taking the time to heal before conceiving.

We're still ironing some things out and I always like to retest some markers to make sure she is as ready as she can be, then it's time to start trying. ❤

Here's my favorite way to make an omelette (watch full video for my special secret ingredient!). This is a go-to for weekends at our house. 🤩

The recipe is below, tag me if you make it!

🍳 Healthy Omelette 🍳

- Onion, chopped
- Peppers, chopped
- Meat (I like to use turkey pepperoni sticks from Costco, or even leftover lunchmeat)
- 3-5 eggs
- Salt and pepper
- Pesto
- Spinach

1. Start browning the onions
2. After a minute or two, add the peppers
3. While those are browning, chop the mushrooms and protein
4. Once browned, add the mushrooms and protein and let it sauté
5. In a bowl, crack 3-5 eggs and stir together
6. Add salt, pepper, and pesto to eggs and stir
7. Add spinach to the pan and stir for 1-2 minutes
8. Pour the eggs into the pan
9. Cover and let cook until done!

95% of my patients have been told they can't get pregnant naturally and NONE of those patients were given any explanation as to why that was the case for them.

They were labelled with a 'diagnosis' (or sometimes no diagnosis at all!), but no one ever told them what they can do about it.

They were told 'that's just the way it is'.

It's time to get this straight — chronic conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, autoimmune conditions, and luteal phase defect are SYMPTOMS, not DIAGNOSES.

These conditions are not normal — they are symptoms that mean something deeper is wrong.

The problem here is that conventional doctors are trained to diagnose, then treat that diagnosis with procedures. They are NOT trained to look for and resolve root causes, and especially not trained to give explanations or tell you what you can do to heal.

But that doesn't mean there's no hope! These conditions CAN be treated, we just have to start at the ROOT instead of the symptom. With commitment and work, PCOS, endometriosis, and fibroids can all be reversed, and you CAN get pregnant naturally.

If you're struggling with infertility, you probably have been told to relax and destress to help you get pregnant.

First of all, that's not helpful advice. Second of all, it's easier said than done.

What I've been seeing in my practice over the last couple of years is that the amount of stress my patients are under is tremendous (outside of fertility stress) despite the fact that these patients have been meditating, exercising, eating all the right foods and doing anything else that they can to destress.

So why isn't it working?

Because there are two types of stressors on the body - psychological and physiological.

When you meditate, journal, relax, etc. you are managing your psychological stress. But we also need to focus on helping you manage the physiological stress that your body is under...

Physiological stress is the body's response to stressors at a cellular level.

What stresses your cells out?

- Not drinking enough water
- Drinking water with toxins and chemicals in it
- Applying beauty products that are full of toxins
- EMFs
- Living in a moldy home
- Having a chronic infection
- Eating foods that you are reacting to

The list goes on...

I say this not to discourage you but to give hope to those who have lost it. If you feel like your body has failed you and you are broken... You're not. Your body is just under stress that you aren't aware of yet. When the body is stressed, it's in fight or flight mode and reproduction literally shuts down.

You may feel like you've had all the testing done in the world, but if you still don't have answers as to why you can't get pregnant or stay pregnant, something is missing.

Here's how things can get missed:

First, your conventional doctor is limited to blood work and diagnostic testing like ultrasounds and HSGs.

Second, your medical doctor is looking to find a diagnosis - PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, etc, not optimal function markers.

Third, they're checking to see if you are a good candidate for IVF, not trying to help you get pregnant naturally.

Here is the problem:

#1. The blood work your conventional doctor is running is usually incomplete (and not timed properly with your cycle for hormone assessments).

#2. The ranges of that blood work are very large. Your doctor is looking for disease, not optimal function.

#3. If everything comes up clear, you're deemed to be "normal" and your only solution is medication or IVF. But there are so many different ways to look into the body - assess nutrient status, gut function, hormone metabolites, environmental toxins and so much more. Just because you don't have "disease" doesn't mean there aren't things that can be optimized.

I am tired of hearing women tell me that they cut out gluten and nothing happened.

Maybe they needed to cut out gluten, maybe they didn't. But it's often not the only thing that you need to do to restore your gut function and hormone health. So before cutting out whole food groups and restricting yourself unnecessarily, I recommend doing some testing and working with a practitioner who will help you create a diet and lifestyle that is sustainable for you.

Let's make decisions based on data to save ourselves some time and heartache.

Not so fun fact: the majority of practitioners won't give you the support you need when it comes to your fertility.

This is true for a few reasons:

- Many doctors don't specialize in fertility (which is a whole different ball game)
- Most conventional doctors aren't trained in holistic health or functional medicine
- Some doctors aren't qualified or experienced enough to help you

So, if a doctor is making big promises or prescribing you meds or supplements before running any labs, or says things like ""let's try this and see what happens"", PLEASE seek an additional opinion.

And if you know you need another opinion but aren't sure of where to turn, I'm raising my hand to help you.
