Worth a quick read. Does this resonate with you? ❤️
Fyodor Dostoevsky's quote, "Above all, do not lie to yourself," is a profound reminder of the importance of self-honesty. This principle is foundational for personal growth, authentic relationships, and a meaningful life.
Self-deception can manifest in various ways: rationalizing poor choices, denying personal flaws, or creating narratives that avoid uncomfortable truths. Such lies might offer temporary comfort but ultimately prevent individuals from addressing the root causes of their problems, leading to stagnation and deeper discontent.
In Dostoevsky's works, characters often grapple with moral and existential dilemmas, where self-deception plays a central role in their downfall or redemption. This theme underscores the destructive potential of lying to oneself and the liberation that comes from facing the truth, no matter how painful it might be.
Embracing self-honesty involves courage and introspection. It requires acknowledging one’s vulnerabilities, mistakes, and limitations. By doing so, individuals can cultivate genuine self-awareness, leading to healthier decisions and stronger integrity. This authenticity not only enhances personal well-being but also fosters trust and depth in relationships with others.
Ultimately, Dostoevsky's advice serves as a timeless call to prioritize truthfulness within oneself. It encourages a life anchored in reality, fostering resilience, wisdom, and true fulfillment.

Forgiveness is a gift to yourself and the key to releasing the past.
Forgiveness is freedom.
Not forgiving is choosing misery.
Choose freedom.

Your mindset is everything…
It’s important to trust that everything is going to be OK. No matter what happens in life you can handle it 🌈.
This is underrated.
Life doesn’t always turn out the way we wanted it to be. You can make the most of where you are right now and trust that everything is going to be OK. No matter what happens in life you can handle it.

What’s your take on this?
Personally, this is something I have got to see come true on a daily basis for people around the world for the past 14+ years. People struggling with hormone imbalances, autoimmune conditions, nervous system dysregulation, digestive problems, chronic fatigue and metabolic issues reclaiming their lives. Life goes by so quickly. What kind of life are you living? So many people don’t know they are worthy of wellness. Worthy of wholeness. Worthy to be the best version of themselves.
If you want to learn more about this topic and tools to heal and reclaim your wellness, I talk about it at length on my podcast, The Art of Being Well, in my books, in articles and one-on-one with telehealth patients. Link in bio for all.

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

This is so true, read to the end for some wise advice.
The world is increasingly designed to depress us. Happiness isn't very good for the economy. If we were happy with what we had, why would we need more?
How do you sell an anti-ageing moisturiser? You make someone worry about ageing. How do you get people to vote for a political party? You make them worry about immigration. How do you get them to buy insurance? By making them worry about everything. How do you get them to have plastic surgery? By highlighting their physical flaws. How do you get them to watch a TV show? By making them worry about missing out. How do you get them to buy a new smartphone? By making them feel like they are being left behind.
To be calm becomes a kind of revolutionary act. To be happy with your own non upgraded existence. To be comfortable with our messy, human selves, would not be good for business. ~Matt Haig
