Ready for the Block of the Month?
Guild members will get monthly tutorials for variations of log cabin blocks. Use these to make your own quilts, or make a log cabin sampler quilt.
Instructions will be available in the members-only group and sent by email. Keep your eyes out for the introduction!

Lots of fun at today’s Sew Smart Workshop with Rose Parr. Learned a few things ( for example you can still sew ergonomically when you are sitting down) and made a few things too, see final picture of a lovely Kaffe Fassett inspired flax seed heat pack. @ Chartwell Wellington Park Retirement Residence

This group strives to educate the public on all aspects of quilting. Pieces and Patches Quilters' Guild meets at 7pm, on the 4th Monday of the month from September to June. The Guild allows both beginners and seasoned Quilters' to meet to discuss quilting techniques, showcase projects, share knowledge and ideas, take in lectures and trunk shows, and participate in workshops to learn new skills and increase their own quilting skills. This Non Profit Guild also creates quilts for charities both locally and globally. Doors open at 6:30. Wheelchair accessible.
