This week we are sharing: Some of our residents from the Guest House were able to enjoy the Blue Jay Game on Canada Day, busing there and back but home on time for fire works🧨🎆

Our Harvesting Hope volunteers are back outside at the market this weekend. Try our new Strawberry-Rhubarb tarts!

The hard work in early recovery is really indescribable, the brain is struggling, the body is healing, routine and expectations, and emotions can look like scrambled wiring. The challenges of impulse and compulsion takes resilience and courage with a community of supports. We are thrilled to have Amanda share her 3 month milestone at Ancora.

… and see our garden grow!

This week’s theme for National Indigenous History Month is Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQIA+ People. Throughout Canada, these individuals continue to go missing and are being murdered. We must call for justice and advocate for their safety, supporting plans for greater protections.

The heat couldn’t stop this crew from enjoying community together with a bbq, games and good laughs. These events help to rebuild confidence, by being part of a broader welcoming community. P.S. sneak peek at our garden when you scroll to the end.
