Striving to bring your ideas to life! If you can dream it, I'll do my best to design and create it! Handcrafted wood decor and furniture.
Built a couple bath boards over this holiday season.. One was poured with the birthstone colors of mother, father, and daughter who all share the same initials! The other one is an Iris purple void fill! Both hand crafted out of live edge walnut slabs, and finished with walrus oil, a good finishing wax, followed by a power buff.
Just finished up this live edge, end grain, 2 inch thick, ash slab table! It took 5 litres of epoxy, was Harley Davidson inspired, and was tinted with metallic black and metallic orange to bring the vision to life! Cut polished and finished with an Antique Danish Oil to compliment the natural beauty of the gorgeous grain in this stump slab. Also featured are a couple of matching epoxy coasters and an ash charcuterie board! The Old Soul logo was laser etched and poured with matching colors to serve guests in style on this amazing piece. It's final resting spot will be a top of a wine barrel, on a beautiful patio, in the Southern Okanogan, what a lucky table!!
So many stages to this old golf course sign! A buddy of mine had it sitting around for years, he brought it over and we put our heads together.. Here's the out come! Epoxy filled, slide-under sofa table, with a crib board on the course. He has some sanding and staining to do yet on the pedestal stand we fab'd today.. but needed some pics before it left my shop! Made entirely with scraps that were headed for the garbage.. aside from the epoxy and angle iron!
Walnut slab entry way shelf all finished up! American walnut stain for the frame. Planed, sanded and oiled walnut slabs, should make easy maintenance for the removable shoe shelves underneath! Top shelf for toques and mitts! Also added 4 grooved dowels on the uprights to hang keys. Love this piece!
Here's this week's projects all wrapped up! A live edge walnut board sanded smooth and oiled, voids filled with clear epoxy. This will be sporting a sausage press mounted to it! The coffee nook-stand is two tone stained and finished off with a nice poplar live edge slab. Last is a blanket ladder, the edges on the rungs have been rounded off on the router table to finish it off!
Well I'm probably the worst candidate for a hand model.. but finished up this walnut bracelet for my self this morning and decided to show it off! Should I make more?? Maybe some necklace pendants? Want to know if there's any interest..
Walnut epoxy bathboard completed with ocean blue metallic river! Features a tablet slot and 4 countersunk tea light holders. Stage sanded and polished to make that river like glass!
Another charcuterie board completed, made as a birthday gift for my sister. Pretty awesome brother she has I'd say 😜 This one has a rustic look yet complimented with modern accents. It is made from solid live edge walnut, with subtle handles and branded with our new Old Soul branding iron. Sanded smooth as silk and oiled, begging to be loaded with various meats and cheeses on wine night!
This butcher/serving board brings true meaning to the ripple effect. Planed flat, 2 stage belt sanded, 3 stage finish sanded, and oiled to perfection. The pictures truly don't do it justice.
Finished up this raised dog dish stand this morning! A necessity if you have a large doggo to keep the strain off them, and keep the bowls from being tripped on.. We all know it's a pain cleaning up a spilt water dish with wet socks! 😂 This stand is solid spruce, with a two tone stain combo to accent it just the way it needed to be.

Here's a couple smaller projects that have left the workshop recently! 1ftx1ft pine triangle shelves, sanded to feel like glass and stained with an oil-gel black finish. Perfect for those small items you never have a place for! Also included is a distressed teal/sky-blue shadow box. With a solid wood back, and wrapped with a white washed frame. This was custom made to be finished off with a family name, scrabble tile wall art collage!
Hand crafted and built to last! This cottage style coffee table was built to the exact dimensions best suited for its new home. Solid spruce, sanded to perfection with a Spanish Oak stained top to really make that grain pop!
Custom bathboards made to ensure you will never want to leave the peaceful feeling of candle light, Netflix, a good book, and a glass of wine while surrounded in bubbles. These two were done to be simple and really draw your eye the unique grain of the wood. The darker one is solid walnut with a natural finish, and the lighter one is a 2 inch thick piece of blue pine with a white wash finish!
Hand-made barn door medicine cabinet completed recently, and off to its new home! Two-tone grey with easy adjustable shelving to accommodate items of various heights, and a wooden hand towel bar underneath.
This is a birdseye maple charcuterie board with a touch of tinted epoxy. Charcuterie boards are a perfect choice for serving guests on any occasion!
