Here's something new we're testing this morning. We like to cause a bit of distraction from your regular programming today! Cherry filled almond croissants! We couldn't stop at just 1 in the test kitchen! And remember, calories don't count when a dietitian (our baker) makes them!

One of my favourite things to do around the holidays is a good old fashioned Cookie Exchange with my favourite people!

I’m excited to announce that Trinity and Tara are teaming up once again to officially host the Biggest Ever Cookie Exchange! I am so excited for this event!

Tickets will go on sale on November 9th!

We are still working on some details! Basically you will be asked to bring six dozen cookies, 4 for the exchange and 2 dozen for tasting. You will leave the exchange full of Christmas Sprit and 4 Dozen cookies.

1. Thanksgiving Cake- this is an adaptation of our Scotia cupcake (And a favorite of my mom's)!! It's an 8"x 8" x 3" apple cake with caramel buttercreme $20.00

2. Turkey Dinner Kit- 4 sugar cookies with lots of buttercreme, candy and caramel to decorate. It's targeted to kids, but hey, adults can do it too!! $13.00

We've been busy this morning! We were delighted to do these sugar cookies with buttercream rainbows and gum paste lady bugs for Ruby's Trail Mobility Day today!

Our baker also whipped out these Harry Potter themed cuppies for a sweet baby shower event!

Having driven for days and fortunately avoided the hurricane, our baker arrived last night! We got right at it and promptly finalized a lovely order for today's event.

We respectfully ask that everyone extend heartfelt thoughts to western North Carolina, now confronting significant challenges and devastation.

Our main baker is still thinking about us!! She's getting items lined up to decorate to take "Sweet Betty's" on the road for the New Ross Christmas Tree Festival in December!

Those of you who know her, know she loves a good Hallmark moment, and we truely believe this will be one of those moments!! Here's a sneak peak of the items!
