The garlic is ready! We doubled the amount of garlic we planted this season by planting the bulbs from garlic we grew last season 🧄
Farm update ☀️
So far this season we’ve harvested peas, carrot, bok choy, yellow beans, summer squash, kale, green onion, kohlrabi, turnip, romain, mesclun mix, lavender, cauliflower, spinach, radish, sage, thyme, and cucumber!
Tomatoes, purple lettuce, beans, pumpkins, garlic, cabbage, celery, corn, herbs, and sunflowers are still growing 🌱
Subscription members: We are happy to share that your Summer subscription will begin a week earlier than originally scheduled. Thanks to the recent weather conditions, our growing season has sped up. Your first box will be ready for pickup Sunday, July 16th!
Please check your email for details ☀️
The first harvest of the season! Pearl radish, garlic scapes, and a few handfuls of strawberries from our small patch 🍓 15 days until the first subscription box!!
We finished planting over 3500 pumpkin seeds over the past few weeks and there’s 22 days until our first subscription box! Lots of baby plants around 🌱☀️
☀️
Hello garlic! At the end of last season we planted about half the garlic we grew and almost all of it germinated this year. It might be a little behind because we put down a really thick layer of straw so a few weeks ago we took the straw off and now they’re up! Cheers to the first thing out of the ground 🧄🍻

Flowering sugar snap peas! Can’t wait to snack on these 😋
Last week we transplanted celery, peppers, tomatoes and strawberries 🍓 We seeded yellow beans, lettuce mix and radish!
Rainy days call for repotting lavender and celery seedlings 🌱
First seedlings in the ground, yesterday, we transplanted broccoli 🥦 We also seeded parsnip, carrot and beet!
The weather has been good for rebuilding our greenhouse this week! We moved it to a different area in the field for better drainage and to get away from the walnut tree it was beside last season. Walnut trees create a toxin that kills peppers and tomatoes, we learned that the hard way 😂
Thanks John for your help cutting metal and putting the hoops up
Nursery update 🌱
We have almost all of our seeds started that will be transplanted in the field. Some of the herbs, tomatoes, brassicas and peppers have their true leaves coming in!
Today we’re transplanting the tomatoes up to bigger pots for stronger plants and more room to grow 🍅💪
Happy Easter!
We’re away for a bit but before we left we checked in on the field and found the garlic coming up! Can’t wait to try cooking with the garlic scapes 🧄
This season we’re growing 7 varieties of peppers, most of them have have sprouted already 🌶🫑🫑
We’ve been starting lots of tomato and pepper seeds in the nursery (aka our basement lol).
The only seeds up so far are the lavender and kale but soon enough the peppers will be coming through the soil 🌱
