A carbon calculator is not a solution to climate change. It is however a really good way to check in on yourself. In doing so, you can formulate a household strategy to reduce your carbon footprint.
Therein lies the solutions, change. While there are drastic calls for immediate change, you are encouraged to not be deterred from do what you can, with what you have.
There are choices available to everyone. Eating less meat. Transportation. Even choosing reading a book over scrolling on your phone has an effect (In short, servers require energy and all energy has a power source and a carbon footprint.). While choices vary from person to person, awareness should not.
Use your carbon footprint calculator estimate to guide you in how you want to draw down that number, as best as you can.
Visit www.futureclimateleaders.ca and started on driving change locally.
Consider how this may shape your behaviors and consideration of the our planet's future.
