Holiday Haven Campground
Located on the beautiful West River, Holiday Haven Campground was opened by the Jones family in the early 1960s.
Situated 9 km southwest of Charlottetown on the waterfront of the West River, Holiday Haven Campground provides a pleasant family camping and RV park experience. Over the years, the original 20 tent sites grew to over 270 tent and RV sites and 9 cabins. After multiple owners, and over a decade operating as a franchisee of an international campground brand, in 2024 our campground has returned to it

After 13 years we are saying Good Bye to Cornwall KOA and returning back to our roots of Holiday Haven Campground . We appreciate all that the KOA has done in making life long family memories for our campers and staff .

We are excited to start the last weekend of 2023, we close on Sunday morning Oct 1,so a few more days to enjoy some camping. With the Harvest Moon and good weather it going to be awesome .

On this day a year ago, Hurricane Fiona raged through the night, we peeked out of the doors of the campground to see an unrecognizable scene where once stood hundreds of trees was a war zone of tangled branches, wire, and carnage. After a brief 5 minutes of disbelief, we started and are still working on rebuilding the campground, its hard to believe in just a short few months, we were able to reopen. We wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this without our Amazing Staff, H Line Enterprises, R Cudmore Electric Ltd, Holmes Construction and Laird Tree Care.
A huge shoutout and thank you to our fantastic campers for supporting us throughout the 2023 season, we loved hearing all the children’s laughter and smiles as they enjoyed the campground to the fullest.
We are closing in just 7 days on October 1st after a great Summer of making lifelong memories and hopefully we will be releasing our opening date for 2024 bookings very soon so please watch this page for updates.

We have power here at the campground and made it through Lee with only losing a few trees.
We have milk, eggs, ice and bread to purchase (Cash/Card) at the office, if anyone is still without power.
