In HBB the smells echo in the flavour: sea breeze, bread, and a light savory herbal note from its Williamstown hops. The profile dances nicely between bready malt sweetness and herbal hop bitterness, finishing with a clean minerality. This beer is noble and delicious. The brewer is reminded of Al Purdy’s description of beer as yellow flowers in the Quinte Hotel; but unlike Purdy, they feel that the beer outta be worth a poem instead. Thanks for your support of good and actual local beer for nine years, and Cheers.
