DYC serves boating enthusiasts of the Halifax area. We are a full service yacht club with outstanding facilities as well as an active social calendar.
The Dartmouth Yacht Club (DYC) is ideally located adjacent to the Burnside Industrial Park on the Bedford Basin. We are a full service yacht club with outstanding facilities including our own marine travel lift. We offer modern marina slips with power and water, mooring and tender service in a protected mooring field, clubhouse facilities and winter storage both in and out of the water for members

Morning after Rock the Dock !!
Sunday brunch 10am till 11:30am includes eggs, bacon, sausage pancakes and fresh fruit. The bar will be offering drink specials as well great way to finish off the weekend!

Now that a bit of time has passed and we have been able to collect some pictures, we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person involved in the Grand Opening of our New Clubhouse! It was a fantastic day, and we are very happy to be in our new home.

It's time for a Saint Patrick's Day Celebration at DYC!
This Saturday, March 17th at 6 p.m DYC will be hosting a Saint Pat's Day celebration with our new Entertainment Committee Head Mr. Derrick Hines!
Our supper of an Irish Beef & Guinness Stew with rolls will be served with a Bread Pudding and Irish Whiskey Sauce and whipped Cream.
We have the band "Feedback" returning by popular demand, they'll start playing at 7.
We are asking $8.00 per person. We’re also hosting a 50/50 draw or donations accepted with all proceeds going to Jr Sail Program.
It is St Patty’s day and all leprechauns will be allowed admittance this one day of the year. Wear Green to show your St Patty’s party spirit. Come with the intention of having a grand ol’ time!

Hurricane Juan a wake-up call on disaster planning

thechronicleherald.ca Members of the Dartmouth Yacht Club now know a lot more about disaster preparedness than they did 14 years ago. When hurricane Juan hit on Sept. 29, 2003, high winds and storm surge destroyed the club’s marina. A handful of boats were lost and as many as 50 were damaged.
