A special sit down, timed tasting event brought to you by the Alberta Scotch Society

There will also be a surprise BLIND Whisky tasting to wrap up the day. 6 Special Whisky selected for this tasting. Each Whisky will be presented to you during the BLIND tasting event, it is sure to surprise both you and your taste buds.

The Edmonton Scottish Society Highland Gathering is coming June 23.
Gates open at 8 a.m.
Pipes and Drums competition, Highland Dance competition, Heavy Events, Vendors, Bouncy Castles and kids zone, petting zoo, classic car show, Whisky Tasting, Live music, food trucks and more.

The Edmonton Scottish Society 2024 Highland Gathering is approaching on June 23 The event runs from 8a.m. to 4:30p.m. Volunteers are needed to help make the day run smooth. Our volunteer sign up page at https://volunteersignup.org/9HB9K helps us track hours of volunteerism in case you have volunteer hours for your group to be completed.
Our volunteers are truly the 100 people giving 100% to support this year over year event. Volunteers get free admission, an event T-Shirt, lunch from our Society booth and a drink. Volunteer for the day or a few hours and enjoy the rest of the day watching the Pipes and Drums, Highland Dancers, the Heavy Events, our vendors and live music.

This year, the Edmonton Caledonian Country Dance Society (aka RSCDS Edmonton), is proud to be hosting this event in conjunction with the Edmonton Scottish Society.

There will be cocktails, Piping in the Haggis, Dinner, speeches, entertainment & Ceilidh dancing!

Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes because after dinner, there will be ceilidh dancing!

With spring in Edmonton we are all too familiar with spring potholes and the Edmonton Soccer Dome is no exception.
We are aware that travel through the site is dodgy with all the potholes that are showing up.
The ground is still frozen so blading the area will have zero effect right now. Rest assured we are ready to smooth out our drive paths as soon as we are able.
The ground sill hopefully thaw enough in the next two weeks that we can get those pesky potholes gone.
We are looking at back filling some of the larger ones in the mean time.

The Edmonton Scottish Society Annual General Meeting, open to members of the Edmonton Scottish Society, will be held March 15, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. in the Main Hall of the Society at 3105-101st SW Edmonton, AB

Members will receive a direct email with a link to the audited financial statements for the 2022 year as well as any other information required for the meeting. This email will be sent out prior to the meeting and will also serve as a 2nd notice
