Filipino race is one of the fast growing population here in Alberta. Newcomers are coming in from our country everyday. They can encounter difficulties with laguage, weather, employment, housing, transportation and oftentimes suffer from culture shock. We felt that same feeling when we first stepped our feet in the country. And we are thankful for the people that helped us. But for some, they wished there was somebody that could have helped them adjust. We will not let them feel that way again because we are here to be there for them.
Let us come together and show what is a true BAYANIHAN.
