Ritchie Sessions Resume Tomorrow.

I'm going to visit 630 CHED (local radio station) tomorrow morning to an interview about electric unicycles and my partnership with Ritchie Community League to teach new riders. It's at 635am tomorrow morning, I can't post the livestream on facebook, but look up 630 ched streaming if interested.

In the winter we move indoors! Here's me working with the first ever student to learn in the indoor space we use in partnership with Ritchie Community League.

Big News: As of April 2023, the Alberta Traffic Safety act does *NOT* count PEVs as motor vehicles that require insurance and registration, as long as they are travelling below 30kmh.

We'll be demoing Community League Day, Saturday Sept 16, Ritchie Community League.

For those wondering, we're waiting on getting the insurance that is needed to get into the space. It looks like we might have that organized sometime next week. We've missed the deadline to do Jan 5th though, so the tentative date for the event is now Thu Jan 19th. Fingers crossed we'll be able to confirm this by the end of next week.

Unfortunately, due to logistical issues with the space, this is looking less likely to take place, at least on Jan 5th.

We have picked a date for our first open indoor event -- Evening of Thursday Jan 5th. The space will be about triple the size of what we had for the recent test event. Details to follow.

Here is the list of what is included in the room rental for the Orange room at the Alt hotel in Calgary:
* Orange room is a 420 sq.ft. meeting space
* The maximum capacity for this room is as follow:
* 2 round tables of 10 guests, in total of 50 guests or 6 guests with social distancing
* 6’ tables U-Shape style of 3 guests, in total of 18 guests or 6 guests with social distancing
* 6’ tables hollow square/boardroom style of 3 guests, in total of 18 guests or 6 guests with social distancing
* 6’ tables classroom style of 3 guests, in total of 18 guests or 6 guests with social distancing
* 26 chairs theatre style or 6 guests with social distancing
* High speed Wi-Fi connection
* Large size window on the side to provide more natural light in the room
* White board that is attached on the wall beside the TV
* 65 inch TV with an HDMI port
* Built in speaker system that comes with the TV
* HDMI cable to connect laptop to TV

Outdoor lessons are back. $50 for a two hour lesson includes a two day rental of a wheel subject to availability. Preferred time for lessons is 11am each Saturday but other times can be arranged upon request.
