Over 12,000 Indigenous people are estimated to have volunteered in WWI and WWII, as well as the Korean War. Despite their service, despite their sacrifice, when they returned home they continued to face discrimination. Today we recognize their bravery, and pay homage to those currently serving in uniform.

It's the official kick-off of the holiday framing season. It’s an excuse to get something custom framed, and most of all, it’s a day to celebrate custom framing and custom framers.

Framers are designers, artists, carpenters, and consultants all at once. Framers take a piece of art, a treasured memento, a picture, or whatever else is brought into their shop/gallery and make it incredible! Framers preserve, elevate, and design incredible pieces every single day. We want to honor that contribution to art and interior design!

The day is officially registered with the National Day Archives and slated to be added to the National Day Calendar's next run. We'll be celebrating all next week so keep an eye out for some special offers!
