Tori is a 2024 graduate from Vicar’s School of Massage Therapy’s 2200hr RMT program. She also earned a Bachelor of Music from MacEwan University in 2019.
After her career began in music, Tori soon recognized the profound impact of maintaining physical and mental well-being. This realization and her passion to help others manage pain and stress, inspired her to shift her focus to massage therapy.
Committed to providing personalized, comprehensive treatments, Tori is eager to expand her expertise by incorporating additional modalities, such as cupping, into her practice in the future.

In June our Massage Therapist Michelle retired, after 20 years of treating clients.
And although we are sad to say goodbye, we are also so proud and grateful for all she has done the past 20 years. She has not only helped so many people (both on the table and those lucky enough to work beside her).. but she has done a lot to support and grow our industry… educating young therapists, pushing for recognition of the work we do and being a role model to so many.

I still remember when Michelle started at 3 Leaf 9 years ago. I had been looking for someone full time and in truth it almost didn’t work out. But even part time, Michelle brought all of herself and has been such an important part of our team.

She is the person who will take the time to talk a new therapist through a complicated health history and offer help with their treatment plan. She is someone who will lift you up and cheer you on… recognizing our other therapists and what makes them great, and never hesitating to recommend someone if she felt a client would benefit from their style and expertise.

And her support for me was also endless… having run her own clinic for years, she understood me in a way that not everyone can. Yet, when she could have pointed out what I could do better or made managing difficult, simply because of the experience she brought… instead, Michelle had a beautiful way of supporting me and my way of doing things and bringing only gratitude and recognition (and sometimes the visible relief that she wasn’t the one who had to deal with it all 😂).

And I cant go without mentioning her support for our retail… if she suddenly had a space in her day she would often wander into the retail and spend her earnings (thanks Michelle 😂).

So here is to 20 years.
20 years of caring for others.
20 years of treating pain and discomfort.
20 years of holding space for clients as they navigate injury, change and loss.
20 years of showing up to give of yourself, even on the days it’s hard.
20 years of mentorship, friendship and building community.
20 years of sharing your gifts.

Ten days ago, during a heatwave, we made a call to the community for desperately-needed summer donation items. To say that the community answered the call would be an understatement: our sorting area was quickly and completely packed with donations!

This act of generosity is a true testament to the power of community, and the strength in numbers: our initial post went from a few hundred views, to almost 20K!

We are now busy at work sorting through the hundreds of donated summer items, which will be available to the members of our community who need these supplies to stay cool and healthy throughout this season.

A sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you for your donations. It’s been some time since we have done a staff highlight. But it’s about time we introduced you to our clinic manager Hannah.
Hannah has been an important part of our team since the day she joined us, 3 years ago. And I say “the day”, because it really was that instant.
From the moment she started, she seemed to know who we were and appreciate what we tried so hard to create. To put it simply Hannah trusted us and felt she had found her place. Now. this is our goal with everyone, but the longer I have known her… the more I have come to realize what an honour it is to really know her and to have her trust.

Hannah is one of those people who changes you for knowing them. She shows you what hard work and dedication look like. What it means to be there for a friend, or coworker (and definitely for anything that has 4 legs). How to care about the work you do and find value in things that most of us overlook.
Yet her greatest impact… doesn’t come from the parts of her she shows the world. It comes from the parts of her she lets you see when she trusts you. The person who she is, full of the most amazing quirks and interests. Who cares more than she needs to and inspires me daily to learn more about myself.
It comes from knowing that being her friend and knowing her, means you must be pretty special too.

Hannah is creative and loves a project as much as I do. In fact if you ever want to make it to the top of our job applications .. just mention you like to craft (and she will be sure to add you to her yes list).
She keeps us organized and manages to actually sound excited when I ask her to do an extra task or to create a new manual for something (and she is actually genuinely excited 😆)

And she loves animals… especially dogs🐶 . There is nothing that makes her light up more than talking about the dogs she fosters or an animal she saw. And nothing that will get to her more than seeing a post about a lost pet or worrying whether the whole deer family made it across the road (iykyk). For, as much as she takes the time to let you in… when it comes to animals… one look and shes yours.

Hannah is so much more than just the centre manager. She is me when I can’t be. She’s my sounding board, my inspiration and my reminder to order more Blume… and makes sure we never run out of toilet paper.
She’s there to cheer me on and to remind me that there is a reward to caring too much. And she always makes me feel seen and appreciated (and to get really excited about my silly little treats and surprises).
She never gives up on me… especially trying to help me understand Taylor Swift.

But mostly, she allows me to feel what I am feeling, even when it’s ugly and finds the most beautiful way of making me feel understood and not alone (only another over thinker can truly understand).

Hannah you are my mini me.. my “twin”. You get me and support me in a way that I will never be able to thank you for.
Thank you for all you do to make 3 Leaf what it is and for all you add to my life.
We are so lucky you have you
(And don’t hate me for this 😂… ps she is absolutely going to hate me for this 🙈)

So the next time you are in give our Hannah some extra love… chat her up about crafts, dogs or Taylor to make her day. And remember… if you get extra chatty, make sure to mention her name … or she will think you think she’s me (Katie) 😂 (but also … thanks for the compliment guys!!)

It’s time for No Period Without. donation drive!
Which means for the month of May we will be collecting donations!

We have the opportunity to do a lot of meaningful donation drives throughout the year… but this one has always been one of the ones I look forward to the most.
It is also the one that I think about the most… and that’s really a testament to this organization. Not only do they work hard to provide those in need with access to necessary menstrual products, but they have done so much to deepen the conversation around period poverty.

Each month, as I shop for these products, I reflect on the tough choices too many face, especially with rising costs.
Every time I enter our washrooms and see these products displayed for customers and staff, I’m reminded of our commitment—a pledge made years ago through NPW—to make these products available and visible.

This drive is another crucial part of that pledge, to continue the conversation, and do our part to help get more products to those who need them.
But we need your help!

I just want to take a minute and highlight an amazing moment for one of our team.

Patricia has been a receptionist with 3 Leaf since 2015.
In that time I have had the privilege to watch her growth and see all of the hard work she has put in, as she bravely and passionately pursued her dreams.

And big dreams she had.
I remember from very early on she would talk about owning her own publishing company.
So to see her now, having not only started her own business… but today, releasing the first book she has published…. fills me with so much pride.

January was a rough one.
Yet it also brought so many conversations with both staff and clients about why they love 3 Leaf… and I cant tell you what it has meant to me.

And while I love the conversations around the quality of our services and how amazing people feel … it’s all the other things you have shared with me that really lift me up and give me purpose.
