✨Paul & Josie✨ My story is a tale of “rags-to-riches” ! Back in 1978 (some 56 years ago) I was travelling the world seeking adventure and met the girl of my dreams in the remote, tropical islands of the Indian Ocean. The East African coastline was over a 1,000 miles away. From there, we ventured to Europe and settled in The Netherlands. I proposed and dared to “seal the deal” with an engagement ring. However, we were young and poor as church mice. The jeweller in The Hague started to show us engagement rings from the “top drawer”; several passes and several descending drawers later, we selected a diamond chip ring - barely visible to the naked eye - that served as an engagement ring. Young love may know no boundaries - but I knew that a ring that sparkled, befitting the girl who still takes my breath away, needed to be purchased. And so it was, some 5 decades later I made good on that universal and heartfelt promise. Vandenbergs answered the call in spectacular fashion, making a 14K yellow gold, eternity ring with 14 brilliant-cut diamonds….because with true love, there is no ending. We can atest that true love does take time to find, but once it is found, the rest is eternal. 💍

Ben and I met over 9 years ago in junior high school and have been together for over 8 years. Ben proposed to me in Paris last year with a custom engagement ring designed at Vandenbergs utilizing a diamond that my grandfather found for us. For my wedding band, Ben and I knew that we wanted something special and personalized to complement my engagement ring! We worked with Debora to create a beautiful band that spelled out our initials in morse code using round and baguette diamonds. It was so special to be a part of the design process and see our rings come to life! We had our wedding on July 20th and it was truly the best day ever! Thank you to the Vandenbergs team for being a part of our story 🤍
