A pretty shining example that you don't always have to choose between music and sports. Jason Kelce played in the Super Bowl this past Sunday and he attributes a lot of his growth as an athlete and as a person to learning a musical instrument and sticking with it through college. He loves both sports and music, and he made the time to excel at both.
“I consider a lot of my growth as a player and as a person happened learning the saxophone, being coached by conductors and teachers, reading sheet music and understanding how to practice by repeating the same thing over and over again and you see how much easier the song becomes.” - Jason Kelce

Playing the saxophone in high school helped Jason Kelce become a Hall of Fame-caliber football player Kelce played football, hockey, and lacrosse at Cleveland Heights High School yet somehow found time to play in the school’s band.

😢 Almost everyone on our staff has played with or for Frank during his many years of dedicated work with Edmonton's music community. From Edmonton Catholic School's All City Band, to Love According to John, to the Alberta Band Association, he influenced thousands of tweens, teens and adults to work at and share their love of music. He will be greatly missed by the Alberta music community. 💞
