Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

We've had a host of issues with Google since we moved last year. But today...there's a new one!

Please DO NOT believe Google! It is WRONG! We are absolutely, definitely open. At the time of typing this, the Psychic Fair is on for another hour and a bit. (And while sometimes I question my own sanity/perception of reality, I am fairly certain that I am not hallucinating all of this. (Unless Google knows more about my brain than I do, and this is actually all a very mean hallucination about always being tired and not having any fun/weird abilities or whatever.))

And yes, I've tried to suggest an update. The server is apparently down🙄

Tiny little winged spirits, flitting from flower to flower:these are flower fairies .regular fairies compare in size to humans ,although many are skilled shape - shifters who can take any form.flower fairies are separate from. Flower fairies are a separate, distinct species of spirit.

Theoretically every flower may have its own fairy. A field of wildflowers or a lush,flower packed backyard contains a universe of spirits. Flower fairies 'nature's reflect the type of flowers with which they are associated. Flower fairies associated with beautiful blossoms of poisonous plants, like belladonna or wolf's bane, have different personalities and interests than those associated with daisy's and buttercups .
Flower fairies suffer from habit loss .give them a home and they will come .plant your favourite flowers and see what type types fairies arrive with them. Fairy gardens should not be over manicured : allow a little wilderness to creep in so that the fairies feel at home. Give them room for privacy , places to hide
And observe where they won't be exposed .add fairy flowers.,especially bramble bushes ,wild roses and hawthorn trees .fairies enjoy the company of other species, too. Add butterfly gardens; bird and squirrel feeders ;and or bat houses . Incorporate a source of water , a pond or maybe bird bath they even share hot tub with you to. Ornaments like crystals ,statues , or witch's balls are the equivalent of interior decorating for fairies .flower fairies tend to make themselves visible to children or pets .

Offerings: creation and preservation of habit is the ideal offering .once at least a little habitat exists for them , invite flower fairies with offerings of honey ,milk nuts and timber of milk or wine .

Magical uses: Love, aphrodisiac, beauty, peace, devotion, protection.

Incorporate Myrtle into your practice by: offering to Aphrodite in devotion, adding to charm bags, spell bottles, or dream pillows, burn as an incense, add to bath salts, or use it to dress candles.

Myrtle is a flowering evergreen shrub/small tree, native to the Mediterranean, Macaronesia, Western Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. Five petals, usually white, make up the star-like flower, and results in dark blue berry fruit. The leaves are fragrant and are used in creating a beautiful essential oil.

Myrtle reveals herself to us through many myths and traditions. Ovid describes Venus, emerging from the sea on her clam-shell, holding a sprig of Myrtle. It was also woven into wedding crowns for brides and grooms, and brides would offer a sprig to each of their bridesmaids.

In Appalachian magic, throw Myrtle onto the fire, and the face of your future lover can be seen in the smoke.

The nymph Daphne escaped an attack by Apollo by turning herself into a Myrtle tree.

According to a 16th century text on natural magick, blackbirds use Myrtle to protect themselves against enchantments.

In Judaism, Myrtle is known as Hadassah, one of four sacred plants in the Feast of the Tabernacles.
