Joy isnā€™t always a guarantee especially as we get older, but it doesnā€™t mean we stop trying to find it.

So look for it, high or low, and once youā€™ve found it hold onto it dearly.

Happy Canada Day šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦

Warmest regards,
CBE fam

To kick off Volunteer Appreciation Week, we treated all our volunteers to a movie night out with our friends Metro Cinema to watch a classic, The Princess Bride.

Itā€™s no secret that not-for-profit organizations rely on the generosity and commitment from its volunteers - and just like a movie, it takes a lot of people to make it work from start to finish. From delivery drivers to card makers, the CBE could not serve the community without them - and for this we are truly grateful.

Special thank you to Volunteer Canada and YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) for funding our volunteer event tonight and your continued support.

And to our amazing volunteers - thank you for storming the castle with us!
