• D É T E S T E • Last night, alongside and we continued the conversation about men’s mental health. Our Mindful 10 was dedicated to presence, reminding ourselves that ultimately it’s not about the run. Throughout the run we paused and reflected about a few things:
1. Privilege: How lucky we are to move our bodies freely with ease and are not fearing our safety or lives.
2. Beauty: It’s everywhere, we just forget to acknowledge that we are surrounded by it every day.
3. Time: How we are guided by or letting it pull or push us and sometimes forget to be present on the moment.
4. Community: We start and we end together as one.
Men’s mental health should never be left behind.
• M I N D F U L • November brings awareness to Men’s Health, and we are excited to remind ourselves that mental health for men is a conversation they should be had. We are teaming up with Déteste Sports Club for a Mindful 10k run on Wednesday November 29th at 6:30pm.

• A D J U S T • What is an adjustment? One of the most common questions we get asked asked is what the ‘cracking’ sound is from an adjustment or from spinal manipulation. Think of the release of built of pressure that happens when you open a pop can - that sound that you hear with an adjustment is exactly that! A chiropractic adjustment can help with:
☑️ Improved range of motion
☑️Helps restore and maintain alignment of the spine
☑️ Improves nervous system function
☑️ Enhances performance in your day-to-day actives and sport
☑️ Reduces experienced pain
Have a question on how an adjustment can help keep you moving? Schedule a session with one of our docs - link in bio!
• K I D S • Infants can receive chiropractic care too! Gentle movements for the muscles and joints can be especially useful for your baby as trauma can occur through the birth canal. An assessment with a chiropractor who works with kids is a helpful tool as your baby is growing. Common issues infants may face are:
👉🏽Torticollis or ‘wry’ neck, where the muscle that connects the breastbone and collarbone becomes shortened and the infant then only turns to one side. This can pose problems for sleep and feeding.
👉🏽A brachial plexus injury, often due to trauma in the birth canal can cause a weak and limp arm or hand, often with the arm turning inward posing problems for movement.
👉🏽Birth canal trauma, which can cause muscles in the head and neck to stiffen up. Irritability and fussiness can be a clear symptom of this.
Have a question on how we can help? Schedule an initial assessment and we’ll be your guide to the best care for your little one!
