𝔸 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕓𝕚𝕥 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕄𝕖𝕒𝕘𝕒𝕟:: I grew up in a small town outside of Toronto. I was raised in an environment where food was integral to family culture, not unexpectedly becoming a passion and career choice. My Mom would make a home cooked meal every night and the whole family sat down together to enjoy it and discuss their day. As we got older, we would start helping mom in the kitchen and work together as a team to prepare dinner. Working in my first kitchen, I experienced the same feeling – it felt so natural and right.
To further my goals I attended The University of Guelph to earn a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Hotel and Food Administration. After working in Toronto for the last six years at multiple reputable restaurants I needed a change. The East Coast felt like a great choice having lived in Quispamsis, NB for a few years as a small child, and my fiancée is a Maritimer.

I wanted to live somewhere close to family and where every day was an adventure for my senses. New places to explore on days off, new restaurants to eat at, new chefs to meet and for a chance to work with new ingredients. My dishes and culinary style are inspired by the simplicity of using whole ingredients. I like to focus on ingredients that are fresh, local and in season.
