I hate to see beautiful things go to waste whenever I find something Victorian or earlier that's broken I'll try to mend it and bring it back to life whoever did this thought the exact same thing. This is a chunk of porcelain that was saved cut into a square and mounted in Sterling silver. The pottery seems to be quite old and if I was going to guess I would say the 15th century and probably came from a large paintbrush pot. The idea of something that was once worthless can now be brought back to life and shared forever in the smiling face of the man painted on this piece of porcelain.

This is an authentic 1961 kalevala koru brooch, made and designed in finland. If you know anything about Scandinavian design some of it stems from Norse artifacts and this was modeled after a viking Cape pin. It's funny when I found it and seen it for the first time I thought it was for a moment. But was quickly brought back into reality looking at the paragraph of finish silver marks on the back. It's a lovely piece and in fantastic shape for its age next to no where can be seen on the front or the back. And most of these would be found in a bronze. It's curious enough the fitness of this piece is 916 silver.

I absolutely adore the sleek and minimalist design that this brooch has incorporated into its build. Whenever I see something so elegantly made I typically would assume there would be a name tied to it especially this one looks a lot like a Jensen ,,, a George Jensen to be precise, a famous 1950s modernist designer from norway. And it's funny on the back of this brooch the only markings it has is "Diancy" and "1950" so maybe it was someone mimicking his style or maybe it is an authentic piece of Scandinavian modernism. I like to believe the latter.

This piece really caught my eye when I found it. It's an early Navajo ring utilizing turquoise Coral and black onyx. The segmented style of the stone really blends together so nicely and I love the different color palette of the black red and blue. It's currently a size 8

I love how this one almost looks like it's flowing like water. And I love using reticulation to better define a piece. Being an abstract ring it has any meaning you wanted to have what do you see in this ring.
Currently a 9.75

Here's another piece I had a great amount of fun with. The face is sprinkled with random pieces of molten silver that I hand selected. The gemstone is an opaque labradorite that has a doll dead look when it hits the light. And just like the piece before it almost wants to form a face but at the same time it doesn't so the viewer seems to go over the piece multiple times trying to find meaning that could or couldn't be there.
Currently a size 10

It's kind of funny how as a kid you can look at something completely unrelated to human form and see a face. I always thought that was so magical. With this piece I didn't mean it to look like a face I was just trying to play around with the material in an expressive way and it formed this almost robotic face naturally. It's currently a size 11

I thought I'd share this. This is one of my passion projects. All pieces in this brooch are handmade by myself. The eye is an onyx and I think the whole piece came together quite nicely. This piece is not for sale but please feel free to tell me what you think :-)
When I seen this Stone I was enraptured by its beauty green hues and see through so you can see it subtle black inclusions. The stone is prehite if you were curious. And I was trying to picture something to do with this beautiful stone and I had so much inspiration it's very reptilian primitive but also the hue makes it look very technical if that makes sense. I wanted to put so much in the ring but I couldn't decide so I wanted to give it flourish from all of my different inspiration. The bezel is hand cut and pounded together in such a unique way it really matches the aesthetic of the beautiful gemstone the bottom of the cab has elegant Chase work and the band has almost a scaly aesthetic of multiple small punch marks. Flawlessly mounted and of course with my patented silver mark on the inside of the band. The studio I believe this ring turned out fantastic and when it's on your hand oh boy does it give a beautiful presence.
It's currently a size 12

Of course you might be able to tell this is another one of my custom pieces. When I was making this piece I was trying to envision a flower and maybe I was able to accomplish it but at the same time I wanted to make a flower. The idea of taking an abstract idea as beautiful as a flower and making it in a crude fashion with metal. As I looked the small curls of silver around and applied heat it made an incredibly unique form. So much so I find myself gazing at it. But the gemstone itself is so dazzling it takes away from The Ring itself. The gemstone is a bright rose pink cubic zirconia fantastically cut that you can see all of its inner workings and details. The ring currently is a size 9

Photos truly can't capture this ring properly. This is a piece of my own design. If anyone knows my work personally they know I'm a huge fan of reticulation which is heating the surface of sterling silver so the remnants of copper float to the top causing the surface to be brutalist in nature. There's something about it's abstract form and how unique it makes each piece that it captivates my imagination so. I'll tell you this I had to make this ring five separate times before it was truly perfect in my eyes The ridges needed to be perfect how I set the stone needed to be flawless and the small little details like the curls of silver that wrap around its face. The band is even uniquely made laying silver on top of a bar and heating it till it Cooks on top. The gemstone is authentic and you can tell by its inclusions but the funny thing is I got this in a lot of recycled gemstone pulled from pieces of antiquity. It's currently a size 10.5

Beautifully unique lapis lazuli ring. It's funny I love love love the aesthetic of this ring if I was going to guess I'd say it was an artist's peace probably at the spawn of modernist design. And as I was examining The Ring you can see small lines on the inside of the ring. Taking my loop and looking into the deep cut grooves you can see little remnants of a name. Somebody wanted to wear this ring so much that they had it upsized by half a size drawing all of the marks that were left. I love finding out little details like that it's why I've decided to pursue jewelry as a passion.
It's a size 6.5 currently

Incredibly unique and modernist sterling silver labradorite ring. It has a cool reticulated face with a sawtooth bezel with light abrased Chase marks on the underside of the face. The band has a very defined Sterling mark and the cut of the labradorites cab is very interesting with light hues and darker hues overlapping each other. This one is set at a size 8.5

This is one of my custom pieces. I wanted to make something abstract but something that you perceive that you've seen before. Either way you look at this piece it has a very unique aesthetic. The band is 100% made by hand and extruded so it has some beautiful wear marks. The stone used in the center is a Mexican onyx recycled from another ring. All aspects are 100% recycled and has a very satisfying weight. It's currently out of size 11.

Fantastic heavy Mexican signet ring. The gemstones are onyx and sodalite and they're cut in such a precision manner with a thin layer of silver in betwixt them. This ring is in such fantastic condition you typically find them with large scrapes or nicks in the stone. This was an excellent example and a very nice size a size 8.5. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

This is one of my custom pieces. I've always loved deep colors and this Orange stone was so perfect putting it together was a lot of fun and I tried to do some unique carvings on the underside of the ring. The band is hand cast out of recycled silver. And for something so simplistic I had so much fun and joy making this piece. It's a size 11 and if you have any questions feel free 6️⃣5️⃣

I've always deeply loved taxco pieces because a lot of their art was before it's time. Sometimes completely accidentally. This is an abstract piece there's many different versions of it sometimes with cufflinks sometimes with earrings and with this is a beautiful ring. It was made by a prolific artist but I'm not able to translate the marks which there is a large litany on the underside of the face of the ring. I love the natural tarnish and natural wear that this ring has it gives it character and shows it's age so perfectly. It's currently a size 9. 6️⃣0️⃣
Prayer is almost like meditation taking a single moment for yourself to reflect on the good in life. I so adore this ring. It helps you carry that thought with you everyday you wear it. Showing your colors on your sleeve as it were. It's a size point 8.75 so it'll definitely fit the average hand. 5️⃣5️⃣
I think we all need a little bit of luck. Sterling silver horseshoe ring it's quite a larger size size when it's on the hand you can't see the inner band you just see the laying horseshoe on your finger which gives a very bold presence. 4️⃣0️⃣
I'm going to start using this platform to showcase some of the fun pieces I'm selling. Stay tuned as I slowly get my footing.
This is a custom piece I made out of 100% recycled silver. I call it ("W A N T") it's so difficult to describe an emotion you can use words but it'll never be perfect. So I wanted to describe my feeling of want with a physical piece and this is my representation.
I love when I find amazing pieces like this. This is a pair of sterling silver earrings made by Trinidad Lucas Hopi a very famous native American artist. Famous for his large Sterling pieces and his geometric design. Picking these up I instantly fell in love. And I thought I should share.
I thought I would share these. For those who don't know I am an extreme fan of brutalism. And making custom garb for myself of course. This for your viewing pleasure is a series of sterling silver buttons. they are 100% recycled out of an old plate using segments of the plate and overlapping it and applying heat gingerly. I was able to fuse all of the pieces together roll them through a mill and it gives them this beautiful texture and not one button is a like. each one has its own unique character and design and feeling even some being smooth and some being texturous. they're all modeled after first world war Canadian military buttons where there would be a loop in the back with a pin so you can take your buttons off and shine them. I plan on sewing them to my jacket but I thought I would share nonetheless. What do you think.
Here's a fun piece I thought I'd share it's a Victorian staghead hollowear brooch. The mounted citrine on its face is synthetic probably added post-war in the late 40s early 50s. So you can tell this was a very well-loved piece and for some reason or another the stone must have fell out or became too scratched. The artist put a small amount of enamel in the eyes of the buck giving it a very menacing look paired with that beautiful tarnished patina it is a fantastic piece and I thought I would share.
This is a custom piece of mind. I believe I'll be posting more pieces as time progresses. my inspiration is 1950s brutalism. A large Arch movement of jewelry culture emanated from New York and some other cityscapes around America and the Scandinavian countries. Brutalism is unique in the fact that a lot of it isn't governed it's crude molten shapes with no real structure or form which makes something incredibly new peculiar and unique. I plan on making a full belt using upcycled leather with all Sterling fittings once it's done I'll be posting photos. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
This is a pair of silver boxes that I got today. one of course being a Vesta case for carrying matches and the other one is a cigarette case.the process of enameling is incredibly difficult cuz when you paint it on essentially it just looks all black. When you bake it the pigment comes out. so the artist flawlessly was able to depict this highly defined dog with enamel on the surface of this 800 silver box set. But the most impressive part of this collection is that it is late Victorian probably around 18 80s. And they are in mint condition rather than the natural patina that they would collect from literally existing anywhere. There are no dings and the inside is flawless with no scrapes on a gold wash coating.I found these in Halifax Nova Scotia and the fact that they've survived this long is unbelievable when I do finally decide to sell these they are probably going to sotheby's. This probably is the best and most expensive thing I have ever bought. Estimated at over $1,000 minimum. I thought I would share.
I thought I would share this piece period apologies for not being on recently. This is an authentic David anderson. a master of Scandinavian modernism period famous for his deep rich and beautifully set enamel. His bold red enamel is reminiscent to the fall period and most pieces like this are in a softer color like a baby blue period to find something like this is quite rare.
Few of us dealers are going to be collaborating to make a large collective sale. It's out front of the new shop we're slowly fixing up ,so if you want to see a large collection of different interesting pieces as well as my entire jewellery collection definitely you would not want to miss this.
