On Friday we held the Inaugural Blueprint Open ! Five teams of four battled over 18 holes at the fantastic and fun Lost Creek golf course. The crippling 35 degree temperatures ( don’t worry plenty of hydration and carts helped) didn’t deter the spirits of these determined golfers …Check out our story to see which lucky team will have their names engraved on the prestigious hardware as 2023 champs!

We had a pre drywall blower door test completed on our most current build on the eastern shore last week. The next morning we received this email ;

“Hey there,

I did the pre drywall blower door test on your build , the house was very tight with an ACH of 0.23. Definitely the tightest house I've ever seen in my 3.5 years of this job”

Congrats to and his team and our trades for their attention to detail on the build … well done 👍

Fall Framing

Cedar, black metal, blue skies

Everyone knows this image..but do you know what it actually represents and how it relates to building and architecture?

Da Vinci created the illustrations for “De Divina Proportione” (On the Divine Proportion), a book about mathematics written by Luca Pacioli around 1498 and first published in 1509.
…The golden ratio, also known as the divine proportion, is a special number (equal to about 1.618) that appears many times in geometry, art, and architecture. The golden ratio is found when a line is divided into two parts such that the whole length of the line divided by the long part of the line is also equal to the long part of the line divided by the short part of the line.
Some shapes, such as dodecahedrons and icosahedrons, have inherent golden ratios in their dimensions and spatial positions of their intersecting lines. Some artists and architects believe that the golden ratio makes the most beautiful shapes. As a result the ratio can be found in many famous buildings and artworks, such as those by Leonardo da Vinci.

Shout out to our amazing carpenters who battle on regardless of the conditions. Where else could you be lucky enough to build with winter conditions of -25 🥶to summer + 40 🥵 and still smile 😃?

We are excited to start this amazing project with our great friends .design
