**Real Talk:**

Amid one of the most stressful years of my life, this June(and part of July), with all it had in store for me, has brought me back to life. I decided to take a trip to rediscover myself, calm my heart down and return to my roots, and it worked. 🥹🙏

If you’ve been close to me, you’d know I’ve been like a zombie lately—barely living, always on edge, or in tears, overwhelmed, and so overly exhausted. Simply burnt out.

I went from shoving breakfast and lunch into my mouth while standing up to sitting down and enjoying every meal.

I went from being overtired but still not sleeping at all to sleeping like a baby without waking up in the middle of the night with heart palpitations.

I went from not having enough hours in my day to truly enjoying every minute I have.

I went from barely surviving to living again…

There is so much more than this… And even more I need to keep working on. I wrote down many feelings, but please remember: if you’re experiencing similar feelings, and I know so many of you are, it is really easy to get caught up in our lives and problems these days. The way we live in the modern world has changed at a speed we can’t keep up with. No wonder we can’t catch our breath. No wonder we are more confused than ever. No wonder we are always overly exhausted and anxious. So much is expected from us at all times.

We need to learn to live on our own terms again. We need to remember our roots, slow down, take a break, and try not to fit in all the time. We need to really start living again. There is a beautiful world out there, my friends. 🌍
