Pt 1/2 The honour of being invited into your world’s to document the most pivotal moments in your lives, is something that will forever fill me with gratitude. Watching this magnificent couple go from bride + groom last year, to mama + papa this year… well damn if that isn’t just the coolest part of this gig.

One of the coolest parts of this gig of mine, is getting to pop back into your lives periodically over time. Years ago when I was still a fresh little baby photographer, these two exhanged their vows on a sunny Nova Scotian beach 💍 Last month, we returned to that very same spot and had the most magical family session with their brilliant little rascal of a boy. Pretty special feeling. ✨

A little b+w moment. It’s been a hot minute 🔥 Allow Alyssa + Lewis’ winter boardwalk engagement to warm your heart on this chilly evening.

Engagement sessions become captured memories when we’re all having so much fun. Beyond just a lovely engagement photo, this is also a memory of a beautiful October evening spent giggling about how cold our toes were and hyping each other up to take the plunge for the final photo. From strangers in the parking lot, we become fast friends over the course of our 1hr shoots. So much fun that it goes by in the blink of an eye… dang everytime. ❤️

These two moving through this field together, set against a pale pink sky, was pure poetry in motion. There was nothing to hear aside from the soft chirping of crickets and their feet as they rustled through the grass.
