🚨 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨

It’s been 8 days since we closed the old Studio East on Cunard street. We’re finally able to announce that our new location at 2446 Agricola street will be open this Thursday, August 1st!!!

We kept the old menu and added a few new additions to spice the menu up a little. While the inside may be a bit more modern than the old location, it’s still the same staff and affordable prices. We are Soooo excited to show you our new location and secret patio.

Reservations are now open for you to book online! ☀️

The last supper on Cunard, this Sunday July 21st!

We’re sad but also extremely happy to announce that this Sunday will be our last dinner service at our current location on Cunard street. We’ve had so many great memories in this location over the years but it’s finally that time to move into our well deserved new location on Agricola street.

Our plan is to close for about a week & half. If we pass all of our inspections, we hope to be ready to open at our new location, 2446 Agricola Street, on August 1st!

URBAN BURGER BAR will be taking over and going into the 6021 Cunard location. They will be opening within the next 2 weeks.

We had a super special guest in house tonight!! You might recognize him - Ryan Keeping (yes, he’s from Halifax!!) ran across Canada in 99 days!! That’s 75km per day in only 99 days! His goal was to bring awareness & to raise funds for the Heart and stroke foundation. He accomplished that and so much more! Ryan was inspired by Terry Fox and has since inspired many other people throughout his journey across Canada.

We invited him, his family, and his filmer/editor for a victory meal 😎 Ryan is a true Canadian Legend and it was an honour to meet him 🇨🇦🍁 .keeping

Last night,
we welcomed Chef Craig Flinn into our little Studio East restaurant to work with us as we transition into our new restaurant location in the coming weeks. He was blown away with the food & service and can’t imagine how we do it out of this little kitchen!

Chef Craig has 30+ years of experience in the food industry, has owned restaurants in the city, has 4 published cookbooks, very knowledgeable about food & sustainability. He is also a master at new kitchen setup & organization and will help us with our logistics while being the 4th eye. We still have a lot of work to do and a bunch of surprises coming to the new location, we just hope you are as excited to see it as much as we are excited to show it to you.

In collaboration with Le Ptit Robicheau we helped provide them with our housemade ube buns for their Burger Week in Clare, NS! 😍💜

You might of already heard the news but we’re SUPER EXCITED to announce it’s true, we’re moving to 2446 Agricola Street!

We officially take over May 1st, to start construction 🚧 More info to come soon, stay tuned!

Halifax Burger Bash

Vietnamese Coffee Crème Brûlée 🇻🇳 ☕️

This is our signature dessert that is really special to us.
Back in 2019, the Pratt brothers travelled through Vietnam. Starting from the North in Hanoi, all the way to the south in Ho Chi Minh. We travelled for three weeks, discovering some of the beautiful things that make Vietnam so special. One of our first experiences upon arriving, was the first cup of coffee in the Kawasaki Hotel in Hanoi. We will always remember that first sip of when we fell in love with Vietnamese coffee. What we discovered is that their coffee culture is exuberant!

Since we have a French heritage, we wanted to use some of our roots to create our special dessert so we decided to make a crème brûlée using the best coffee in the world, with condensed milk of course! 😉
