When I first started out in the photography world, Leah (LCJ Photography) was so kind to take my under her wing and show me the ropes. Here is a little behind the scenes from a wedding where I had the pleasure of working with her. Though we no longer live in the same province, I'll forever be thankful for the comradery. It's one of the best parts about the photography industry - collaboration over competition.

Apparently as a photographer I'm supposed to share pictures I've taken? Who knew! I'm terrible at social media and as a Mom of three, posting my work doesn't tend to be my top priority but I do need to show you all these beautiful weddings I've been keeping to myself.

It's definitely been a minute since I posted here and let me tell you there has been A LOT of changes in our lives.

In February our family grew 👣 with the birth of our third daughter, Emerly. Which led us from one big life change to another.

After 10 years away, we knew it was time to come home and raise our babies surrounded by the love of their family. So this summer we packed up and moved back to Nova Scotia, bought our first house and enrolled our eldest in her first year of school. I became a dance mom and both girls are killing it at gymnastics and swimming lessons. We will miss our rural life in Saskatchewan and the opportunities we had but this feels so so right.

As we settle into this new life of ours, reconnect with old friends and make new ones, we are counting our lucky stars for all the amazing people we have met along the way.

So here is to a new chapter, the rebirth of my business in a new province, and most of all - here is home.
