📣Small announcement! 📣 I’ve been breaking some rules lately, adding on / reworking some pieces that weren’t mine. I’ve decided to officially open up to those requests again… on a case by case basis of course. I’ll only be taking on projects if I think I can turn your existing floral tattoo into something that works with my style. (Will consider some non floral as well). Still no coverups. Starting in September (❗️please still wait until the booking day to message! booking day is coming up July 31st!)💻

This client wasn’t happy with her poppies & wanted to fill in the area - the stem was awkward, so this is not how I would typically lay out this piece but I think we made it all work!

Looking for some feedback, with the amount of people requesting quotes (don’t blame you one bit! Money is tight these days) I’m curious if flat rates are the way to go?

P.S. Not looking to do hourly - I have steered away from hourly rates for years now… it is tricky because every tattooer works at such different speeds, especially with such vast differences in styles. Where I’m fairly quick a very high hourly rate might scare some off even though I could get their tattoo done in no time. (Same could be said for flat rates though🤔)

This is why I’ve felt like pricing by the piece is the most honest or accurate way to do it🤷🏻‍♀️

It seems almost every booking round I have an email from one or two different people who excitedly give me all their design info & I go through the back and forth consult process with them, offer a date/time that works with their availability… confirm it works (holding the date up from others who are ready and waiting with deposit)… but then decide they don’t actually want to book in🤷🏻‍♀️
Please be sure you want to get tattooed before msging. Didn’t think that would need to be said but it happens almost every booking round lol… I get some people may get cold feet or second guess themselves once the booking process starts but I don’t think it’s too much to ask 😬😅🤔
